March is a popular time to visit Disney World!
It is spring break season, after all. Plus, EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival is a major draw! If you’re planning a Disney World trip for March and wondering what experiences you shouldn’t miss, never fear. We’ve got five of the BEST things to do in Disney World in March to share with you!
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival
As of yesterday, the 2021 Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing! At this bright and colorful festival, you can check out elaborate topiaries sporting some familiar faces, and extravagant gardens!
And of course, we can’t forget the EATS! This year’s festival features 20 Outdoor Kitchens, each with unique small plates that incorporate fresh flavors. There’s a mix of returning favorites and entirely new booths!
Plus, you can find specialty merchandise like the new Orange Bird Sipper!
Don’t miss this festival if you’re visiting EPCOT in March! If you’ve got a later trip planned, you may still be in luck — the festival runs through July 5th.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
A large St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be held in Disney Springs, and other specialty treats can be found throughout the parks for the holiday! Raglan Road Irish Pub will be hosting the Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival — Unplugged.
The event will take place from March 12th – March 17th. Some highlights of the event include Irish food and drink, giveaways, entertainment, and gift competitions!
Throughout the celebrations, the Raglan Road Irish Dancers will perform. But on St. Patrick’s Day, even more entertainment will be offered — you can see the whole entertainment schedule here! Reservations for the event are highly encouraged, as capacity will be limited.
Plus, there are special treats available, like the St. Patrick’s Day Luck O’ the Irish Panna Cotta from Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
We’ll share updates about any new treats, too!

Visit a Reopened Blizzard Beach
Disney’s Water Parks have remained closed since the rest of the parks reopened last summer. A few months ago, it was announced that Blizzard Beach would be reopening on March 7th!
Water parks can be a fun way to relax in Disney World and are especially great for cooling down from the hot Florida sun! One of the best things about a trip to a water park is that you can make it whatever you want it to be! You can spend the day on thrilling waterslides, or kicking back in the lazy river.
So, for all you water park fanatics, or long-time Disney visitors who want to try something different, consider spending a day at Blizzard Beach!

Have Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine
Also, breakfast is BACK at Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios this month! Beginning on March 22nd, guests can start their day there with a character meal.
Although it will be a modified character dining experience, it’s a Disney Junior party! Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, and Doc McStuffins are known to stop by during the meal.
The breakfast menu will include both savory and sweet options, like Stuffed French Toast and Cheese Omelettes!

Check Out New Experiences in Animal Kingdom
Disney’s newest film, Raya and the Last Dragon, premieres on March 5th. In honor of the new film, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is offering new experiences (and a few snacks)! There’s an incredible sand sculpture to be viewed that features characters from the movie. It’ll only be around for a limited time, so check it out while you can!
Plus, over at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station, there’s a new offering! Guests can learn to draw new characters from Raya and the Last Dragon, like Tuk Tuk.
In the park, you’ll also find new snacks! These include the Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse, the Baby Tuk Tuk Ice Cream Sundae, and the Mighty Mist Soft-Serve Ice Cream!
These are a really great way to get excited about the upcoming movie!
