Welcome back to another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
We’re takin’ a trip all around the park to show ya what’s new in merchandise, construction, and more. And who knows — we may spot a few characters along the way! Let’s get this show on the road.
Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Main Street, U.S.A.
Main Street, U.S.A. is switchin’ up their shops! Yesterday, Main Street Confectionery closed for a months-long refurbishment. But don’t worry — you’ll still be able to get your candy fix at Main Street Cinema! You can pick up the Confectionery’s sweet treats pre-packaged there.
Disney hasn’t announced when the Confectionery will reopen, but we know the closure will last through June 12th at the earliest. That’s as far out as Disney’s released its park hours and refurbishment calendar for now! We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

And just around the corner, The Chapeau has closed for refurb, too! You’ll still be able to get hats, ears, and more at Box Office Gifts down the street. They’re even doing embroidery over there!
Disney hasn’t announced a reopening date for The Chapeau, either, but we’ll keep ya posted.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
Over in Fantasyland, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is getting some touch-ups. You can spot new gold leaf painting on the top of the carrousel, around the pictures from the movie. The sparkly paint surrounds images of Cinderella’s wedding…
…the Fairy Godmother…
…and more! We’ve gotta say, the ride looks pretty snazzy now.
This little update is part of a larger makeover coming to Fantasyland this year. We’ll keep an eye out for more changes!

Jungle Cruise
Okay, let’s hop over to Adventureland! We spotted a tiny change at the Jungle Cruise, where the FastPass sign has been painted over.
We’ve seen this happen on other rides like Space Mountain and Kilimanjaro Safaris, but we can’t be sure what this little tweak means. But we’ll keep our eye on it!
Cinderella Castle Stage
Over by Cinderella Castle, the mystery construction treks on. At the castle stage, we’re keeping an eye on the progress as what seem to be wired strips are placed over the wooden frame.
Disney hasn’t announced what this construction could be for, but we’ve got a sneaking suspicion it’ll be put to good use for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Main Street, U.S.A.
We spotted some new merch while out and about, too! On Main Street, U.S.A., we found a black Mickey balloon. While there’s LOTS of colors up for grabs, like sunshine yellow, orange, and green, black balloons are typically only available around Halloween.
Here’s hopin’ it lasts!

Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.
At Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. (that’s the Space Mountain gift shop!), we spotted WandaVision phone cases and magnets. These aren’t for individual sale, but you can make them using Disney’s MaDe software. There are quite a few phone case options…
…and some fun magnets, too!
Of course, the classic WandaVision logo is there, too.
If you can’t get enough of the show (just like us!), you may wanna swing by and check them out.
Emporium
And at the Emporium, we saw the new Pastel Rainbow ears for the first time in Disney World! We’ve previously spotted these in Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort (and online!), and we’re happy to see ’em on the east coast.
They’re a gorgeous swirl of purples, blues, and yellows, and you can grab a pair for $29.99!

Magic Kingdom Additional Updates
We ran into LOTS of characters as we were walkin’ around the park! On our way in, we caught the Mickey cavalcade, where the main mouse and his pals gave us a big ol’ wave.
In Frontierland, we stopped to watch the Goofy cavalcade…
…and we ran into Anastasia in Fantasyland!
Back at the Main Street Train Station, we saw plenty of princesses, too, like Rapunzel…
…Tiana…
…and Elena!
We had some pretty good luck spotting characters, don’t ya think?
