Covering new and exclusive food items has become the dominant staple for this blog, and today is no different. Whether it be Disney Springs or Food Festivals, we have consistently covered what’s new and fresh to taste at the theme parks here in Orlando. It’s true that the Disney theme parks offer many delicious treats and snacks to choose from, but with so many new additions constantly, there’s sure to be a ghoulishly delightful treat that will send every taste bud in your group buzzing. Today, we decided to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try out 6 new snacks they have to offer.
1. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE VERRINE
Found at Rosie’s All-American Cafe is where you can find the very first snack item on the list. The Strawberry Shortcake Verrine is a Vanilla Cake layered with Fresh Strawberries, Topped with Whipped cream, Strawberry Crispearls, and Dehydrated Strawberries. This Shortcake is appropriately put into a perfect portioned sized cup and is price pointed at $5.99. This treat is the ideal food item to purchase if you’re in the mood for any sort of Strawberry Shortcake. It’s very tasty, has a light flavor, and super easy to enjoy.
2. SNACKING SANDWICH COOKIE
If you often find yourself craving something sweet but also maybe something salty, the Snacking Sandwich Cookie may be perfect for you. This next item is a Fluffy Vanilla Marshmallow Sandwiched between Pretzel and Potato Chip Shortbread Cookies, Covered in Dark Chocolate and Flaky Sea Salt, and is priced at $4.99. When you first acquire this snack, don’t be frightened by the smell because it does smell like a potato chip. But, when you take your first bite into this delicious treat, you will be surprised. The Sandwich Cookie has such a nice sweet and salty flavor to it. It’s a little hard to eat, but once you get over that aspect, you will not be disappointed.
3. HAZELNUT CRUNCH CANNOLI
Located just in Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we find ourselves at PizzeRizzo. From PizzeRizzo, we picked up the Hazelnut Crunch Cannoli which is Dark Chocolate and Caramelized Hazelnut-dipped Cannoli Shell filled with Whipped Hazelnut Spread Cheesecake, and this food item is priced at $4.99. Upon first taste of the Hazelnut Cannoli, it was very sweet and it almost tastes like a mascarpone cheesecake because it has more of a bold flavor to it. Aside from the Hazelnut, there is something else in it that almost gives a tangy punch. The shell is cooked to perfection and it tastes very delicious but it may just be a little too sweet for my liking. If you’re a fan of Nutella, this snack would be perfect for you.
4. PAINT CAN CAKE
If you’re in the mood for deliciousness and presentation, the Backlot Express has got you covered. Located in Echo Lake, you can get yourself a Paint Can Cake which is Rainbow Sprinkle Confetti Cake layered with Vanilla Buttercream, a Mango-Chocolate drip, and a White Chocolate Paintbrush, and this is priced at $6.99. The mango on the cake truly brings it together and makes this treat super delicious. Without the mango, the cake is a little plain but with it being added it really brings a beautiful fruity punch. I think you’re buying the cake more for the look rather than the taste, but all together it is pretty good.
5. ZUKI WRAP
If you’re looking for more of a lunch meal rather than just a snack, this could be right up your alley. Located in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we find ourselves wandering the vast space right into Ronto Roasters. We decided to get the Zuki Wrap which is Grilled Zucchini, Smoked Chickpea Union Slaw, Creamy Garlic Tahini Sauce, and fresh Cilantro wrapped in Pita bread, and this is priced at $12.99. Upon first taste, the Zuki Wrap does have a little bit of spice to it but I do prefer the original Ronto Wrap to this. The flavor on this wrap is very interesting but delicious and it was probably the best thing I’ve tasted from the list of food items.
6. PADDY FROG SIPPER
Our final item on this list of the day comes to us courtesy of yet again Ronto Roasters. If you often find yourself in the mood for some themed items, the Paddy Frog Sipper may be just right up your alley. You can acquire the Paddy Frog Sipper with the Tatooine Sunset drink inside of it for $17.49 or you can get it with assorted Coca-Cola options for $15.99. Inside the drink, you can find a frog while you enjoy your beverage. The sipper itself has some really beautiful blue and brown details around that make it feel very out of the world. I thought this drink would be really cool to get at night time because it would glow and make your night at Galaxy’s Edge ever better.
