ACT FAST! Disneyland Dining Reservations Are Now Available!

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are set to reopen in just a few days!

We Can’t Wait to Step Into Disneyland Park Again!

We’ve already gotten quite a lot of details about what rides and restaurants will reopen with the parks and who will be allowed to visit the parks (only California residents for now), and we’ve even shared a look at some BIG menu changes coming to some Disneyland spots. But, now we’re another step closer to the reopening — Disneyland dining reservations are now available!!

That’s right!! Dining reservations are now available for Disneyland’s many fantastic restaurants that will be available when the parks reopen! What’s on that list, you ask? Well, there’s everything from Cafe Orleans and River Belle Terrace to Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge — Alfresco Dining. (We’ve got the full list right here for ya.)

Lamplight Lounge!

If you want to make a reservation for any of these spots, you’ll want to head to the Disneyland website. And hey, shocker! When we visited the website today, we were placed into that ever-familiar waiting room (yes, again).

Note that this waiting is just to join the virtual queue — so it seems like you’ll have to wait in 2 lines (similar to when we bought Disneyland tickets) in order to book your dining. Luckily, we moved through the process SUPER fast, and we were shown our dining options within 15 minutes. However, wait times have varied drastically for us in the past, so you may have a different experience.

After we selected our place and time (hello, Cafe Orleans!), we entered our personal information

..and then we were good to go. Success!

Keep in mind that a dining reservation does not guarantee you entry into the park. A theme park reservation AND valid park ticket for the same park on the same day are needed to dine at any spot in the park.

Disneyland’s website also notes that making advanced reservations is highly recommended, as walk-ins will be limited. You will be able to look at whether spots have walk-in availability and potentially join a mobile dine walk-up list via the Disneyland app though (which sounds like it will be similar to the walk-up waitlist feature in Disney World).

Want to Eat at Cafe Orleans?

To maximize your time and minimize your contact with others, you’ll also be able to check-in for dining reservations at select Disneyland spots on the Disneyland app (which appears to be similar to the mobile check-in feature available in Disney World).

We expect that many of these dining reservations will book up VERY quickly, so if you’re looking to eat at any of the spots in Disneyland where reservations are accepted, be sure to book those reservations in advance as soon as you can!

Time to Eat at Carthay Circle Perhaps?

Best of luck making your reservations! We’ll keep an eye out for more Disneyland news and let you know what we find.

Will you be making reservations to dine at any of the Disneyland restaurants? Tell us in the comments!
