Whether you love running/jogging/walking, you love The Lion King, you love collecting medals, or you just love Disney — we’ve got an activity for you! For several years, Disney has offered virtual races that family and friends can run on their own in their neighborhoods, and now registration for the 2021 summer Virtual Series (themed to The Lion King!!) is available.
Earlier this week, we shared that the 2021 runDisney summer Virtual Series will be themed to the classic Disney film, The Lion King. And now registration is officially available! To register, visit the runDisney website and select the races you want to sign up for. Again, all of these are virtual races, so you’ll be able to run them at home! Your completion timeframe is between June 1st and August 31st, 2021.

There are three different 5K races available as part of the Virtual Series.You can also opt to participate in the runDisney Virtual Challenge, which is where you register for all 3 races and then get access to a fourth medal. The entry fee for the virtual challenge is $145.

Wondering what the medals for the other races look like? Well, each 5K is themed to a different adaptation of The Lion King, and registration is $40 for each. There’s “The Timeless Classic”…
