The glorious period after Spring Break and Easter, and before Memorial Day Weekend is here. Each of the four parks had relatively low posted wait times, ranking near the bottom of the past 30 days. The exception being Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where posted wait times ranked at #6 of the past 30 days, but this is mainly attributed to Expedition Everest freezing up for most of the afternoon, get it? Freezing up?

We received 163 actual wait times in our Lines app from our wonderful Liners. Posted wait times today were a little less accurate than we expect, when compared to actual wait times. And there’s a few attractions that have a recent track record of having highly inaccurate wait times. Becky, one of our new writers, and I were chatting about this over the weekend and she put together a great post about the attractions that have consistently inaccurate wait times.

At Animal Kingdom today we observed 488 out of 500 (97%) guests wearing their masks correctly in accordance with Disney’s guidelines. Let’s explore the rest of the numbers!

Magic Kingdom Wait Times

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had an average wait time today of 35 minutes. Its 7-day average is 37 minutes, so today ranks #5 for this week. Its 30-day average is 41 minutes, so today ranks #27 for the past month. We received 14 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 22% of the posted wait time, so the average actual wait was 8 minutes.

Jungle Cruise had an average wait time today of 53 minutes. Its 7-day average is 49 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. Its 30-day average is 50 minutes, so today ranks #7 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 40 minutes, so today ranks #19 for the past year. We received 4 actual wait times today, and the actual wait averaged 104% of the posted wait time.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic had an average wait time today of 34 minutes. Its 7-day average is 31 minutes, so today ranks #1 for this week. Its 30-day average is 31 minutes, so today ranks #1 for the past month. Its 365-day average is 21 minutes, so today ranks #2 for the past year.

Peter Pan’s Flight had an average wait time today of 37 minutes. Its 7-day average is 36 minutes, so today ranks #2 for this week.
