We know there’s lots of work goin’ on at Disney World’s hotels…but what about Disneyland Paris?
Well, there are lots of changes happening across the Atlantic, too! The new Art of Marvel hotel is under construction, and Disney just announced a giant transformation of the property’s most iconic resort: the Disneyland Hotel.
Disney announced today that the “complete refurbishment” coming to Disneyland Hotel is actually part of a larger plan to renovate all of Disneyland Paris’ hotels! That’s a total transformation to over 5,700 rooms. We’ve already seen Cars incorporated into Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe and Toy Story into Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne, so the Disneyland Hotel retheme is the next phase in that massive process.
So what is this new theme, you may ask? It’s all about princesses! When completed, the resort will be the “first Disney Hotel to celebrate a royal theme.” We’ll see characters from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Frozen, AND Tangled, both in public spaces and in the rooms themselves. We’ll see new “refined” decor, while the hotel’s classic Victorian architecture remains.
The start of the work on Disneyland Hotel indicates an acceleration to Disney’s overall refurbishment plan. We’ll keep a close eye on the progress and keep ya posted with any news. Stay tuned to DFB!
