EPCOT is pretty COVERED in construction right now.

There are a few projects around World Showcase, but MOST of those construction walls are up in Future World as the EPCOT Transformation continues. Disney just announced that Club Cool will be returning and Mouse Gear will be replaced by the new Creations Shop. Could work on these be starting soon?
A few days ago, Disney filed two permits for the address coded to the former Innoventions East building. This building previously held the Innoventions exhibits, Club Cool by Coca-Cola, and Mouse Gear. It’s been undergoing some MAJOR changes over the past year.
Innnoventions Construction
The first permit is for “AV Installation” with the contractor PSX Worldwise Audiovisual Technologies. This contractor does a variety of show-based environments for theme parks, casinos, theaters, and more.

This permit likely means that work is beginning on some sort of system to add audio and visual effects to an aspect of Innoventions East. We know that Club Cool is getting a fresh look and the Creations Shop is a whole new design. Perhaps the installation is for one of these spots!
Club Cool
The second permit was filed with Brilliant Creative Fabrication to “build and install wall unit.” Brilliant Creative Fabrication has done work for Disney parks before but does not note specific projects on their website.

This wall unit will be added to Innoventions East, per this permit. Perhaps it has something to do with the Mickey Mouse-inspired wall art that will be featured in the Creations Shop. That would be pretty neat!
