EPCOT is getting a MAJOR transformation, and so much of the park is or has been under construction over the past year or so.
This pavilion is so underrated!
Even World Showcase has seen some construction — most notably in France with the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction being built. But Morocco has been seeing some work getting done, too, especially now that Disney has taken over ownership of the pavilion.
Recently, we noticed construction walls up in Morocco… . And no, we don’t think the camel knew what was going on back there any more than we did!
What’s Going on Back There?
As a reminder, here’s what the area behind there looked like before the walls went up. This used to be a popular photo spot for guests. But typically more inappropriate photos were taken here.

Well, the walls have come down and the mystery has officially been solved, and…drumroll, please… .
Ooh, what cool thing did Disney add?
The all-important construction work back there was all for a…door. A DOOR. They put in a door! It is a PRETTY door, at least.
It’s a door!
All kidding aside, the door gives this area even more character. It also looks legit — we wonder if it’s just for looks or if it actually goes anywhere? Maybe it’s the entrance to the Cave of Wonders?!
