We’ve been keeping you posted on the constantly evolving situation with the Disney Cruise Line.
Although the Disney Cruise Line states it hopes to resume limited operations this fall — and it’s already announced itineraries for summer 2022 — sailings remain temporarily suspended. Previously, all sailings through May had been removed from the website, with select cruises canceled through August. Now, more cancellations have been announced.
All U.S. departures have now been canceled through June 2021, and sailings on the Disney Magic in Europe have been canceled for departures through September 18th, 2021. Keep in mind that the Disney Cruise Line is still hosting staycations at sea for UK residents this summer — those departures have not been canceled.
Guests who are affected by these cancellations should receive an email outlining details and next steps. Those with further questions should contact their travel agent or Disney Cruise line directly, at (866) 325-6685 or (407) 566-7797.
Guests who have already paid for their reservation in full will be able to choose between a cruise credit or a full refund. Those who haven’t yet paid in full will receive a refund of what they’ve paid so far. And if you haven’t been affected by these cancellations but want to cancel or rebook, the Disney Cruise Line has extended their temporary cancellation and payment policies through September 30th.
We’ll keep you posted as we continue to receive more updates on the Disney Cruise Line. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
