We could go on and on about why Mobile Order is an AWESOME tool to use during your Disney vacation. In the My Disney Experience app, there are lots of dining features, including Table Service To-Go.
The Wave
Whether or not you’re staying at the Disney Resorts, Table Service To-Go can be a great option when you want to take-away your favorite meals or have dinner in your hotel room. Today, we noticed a small change made to the mobile ordering process for one Disney World restaurant.
When we were on the Mobile Order section of our My Disney Experience app, we received a pop-up notification that let us know that The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort would only allow mobile ordering for guests of the hotel. There weren’t any details mentioned in the app about this update.

Other Table Service To-Go locations, including Kona Cafe and Ale & Compass Restaurant, didn’t show this notification in the My Disney Experience app when we checked on them. It’s possible that this could be a glitch, or a temporary change to the restaurant’s procedures.

We aren’t sure how long The Wave’s Mobile Order will only be open to guests staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. But, we will continue to keep you updated on all the dining details you need to know!
