Guests will be immersed in “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” animated shorts aboard the first-ever Disney attraction at sea, AquaMouse. Complete with show scenes, lighting and special effects, and splashtacular surprises, this wild water ride is sure to delight everyone in the family as they zig, zag and zoom through 760 feet of winding tubes suspended high above the upper decks.
Families will have more pools, more deck space and more dining than ever before in an expansive district themed to Mickey and friends. In addition to AquaMouse, the area will feature six pools — spaciously staggered among tiered decks and surrounded by lounge chairs — and a fresh take on quick and casual fare with a festive character twist.
Little ones will delight in an all-new Toy Story-themed district designed especially for families with toddlers and young children. This whimsical water wonderland will include a splash zone, wading pool, family waterslide and smoothie bar.
Adults will indulge in sun-drenched serenity at Quiet Cove, a peaceful refuge dedicated to lounging, sipping and soaking. Set away from the bustle of family activities, this secluded adults-only district will feature a luxurious infinity pool, poolside bar and chic cafe.

The Disney Wish staterooms have an all-new “enchanted” look with a luxurious design that keeps families in mind. Most of the ship’s 1,254 staterooms will offer an ocean view and 70% of them have a spacious veranda.
There are a wide variety of room types offered including 451 connecting doors that adjoin rooms to accommodate larger families and groups. Some of the adjoining rooms will even feature adjoined balconies for a larger, shared space!
Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Director Claire Weiss said of the ship, “All of our ships offer spacious, comfortable and functional rooms that uniquely meet the needs of families. On the Disney Wish, we are elevating this approach with a new level of storytelling and artful design infused with the theme of enchantment that brings to life cherished Disney fairytales.”
Amenities
Most of the staterooms will feature Disney Cruise Line’s split-bathroom concept. This layout features a sink and shower in one room and a sink and toilet in a separate room. All staterooms will feature a bathtub!
Expect to see enhanced storage options as well, including roomy closets and elevated bed frames (to help with under-bed storage!). More space-maximizing details include pull-down beds for kiddos that feature a secret starfield above.
Looking for more highlights? Staterooms will feature a 43-inch TV, USB and USB-C ports, large vanity, mini drawer refrigerator, full-length mirror, mini-safe, hairdryer, privacy divider, queen and pull-out sofa beds, deluxe toiletries, plush robes, and lavish bed linens and duvets.
Theming
The staterooms are full of rich theming to enhance enchanted storytelling. Imagineers used the “enchanted” motif to design the rooms through three different lenses: Fairytales and Castle, Forest and Animals, and Enchanted by the Sea.
Each stateroom will feature custom-made artwork for the Disney Wish that depicts beloved Disney fairytales. Beyond that, the furnishings will tell the story as well with delicate linen embroidery and more.
Even the hallways will feel like a part of the enchantment! The carpeting, accent walls, lighting, and unique adornments will help to subtly make guests feel like they are welcome.
Concierge
Disney Cruise Line is greatly expanding on the concierge experience by more than doubling the number of premium rooms and suites to 76 total concierge staterooms and suites. These rooms include Disney’s first-ever staterooms located above the bridge with floor-to-ceiling windows.
The rooms will accommodate up to five guests with large living areas, king beds, luxurious finished, and previous amenities. Most concierge rooms feature a private veranda and/or have been themed with design elements of Tangled in mind.
One-bedroom concierge suites will have a separate set of amenities, featuring a separate living room, walk-in closets, two 43-inch TVs, and two bathrooms (including a master bathroom with rain shower, bathtub, and double vanity). Wow, talk about lux!
All concierge-level rooms and suites will have access to an exclusive lounge with a private sun deck so that guests can enjoy a premium level of dedicated service.
Royal Suites
For the most luxurious room offerings, the Disney Wish will debut four royal suites. These extremely lavish suites will accommodate up to six guests and feature first-class amenities. Two of the rooms are Disney Cruise Line’s first two-story suites with features like an elegant spiral staircase and a spectacular two-deck-high stained-glass frieze.
All of the royal suites are inspired by Sleeping Beauty. Two are the Princess Aurora Royal Suites and two are the Briar Rose Royal Suites. Each pair has one single-floor suite and one two-floor option.
Expect the royal suites to include an extensive living area, open dining salon, sizeable pantry, and private hot tub on the oversized veranda. They will also each feature two master bedrooms with bathrooms that feature a double vanity and either a rain shower or bathtub. The living room will have a double sleeper sofa in the living room near a third bathroom with a shower.
Holy moly! There’s a LOT of very cool details to see in these staterooms and suites and we can’t wait to learn more about them. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates about the Disney Wish.

We’ve already touched on a few of the dining spaces available here, like a Marvel dining adventure and a Frozen restaurant. Both will be the first-ever of their kind! But the fun doesn’t end there. A third family-friendly restaurant is coming to the Disney Wish, and this one is all about animation!
1923, named after the year the Walt Disney Company was founded, takes guests on a journey through animation. You’ll dine in either the Walt or Roy Disney rooms, which both feature a Hollywood setting with “a dash of Disney whimsy.”
There will be props and artwork galore: over 1,000 of ’em! You’ll get a peek at how Disney animation evolved, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs all the way to Frozen 2.
As for food, you’ll munch on light and fresh California flavors. There will be a blend of Asian, European, and South American cuisines — all of which you can find in California! — and the menu is built with the whole family in mind. Plus, you can finish off your meal with a selection of Napa Valley wines!
In addition to the cavalcades throughout the day, you can usually spot characters hanging around, doin’ their thing in designated areas. And when we were walking around Magic Kingdom today, we spotted a very special surprise!
We were just passing Enchanted Tales with Belle when we noticed a flash of blue. We stopped to take a look, and it was none other than Belle!
It’s Belle!
She was in a tough-to-see spot, near the stroller parking, so there weren’t a ton of people there to see her. But she waved at guests from a distance!
We’re so happy to see her!
Eventually, people started to catch on, and a crowd gathered.
There’s all the people!
When we asked a character attendant, she didn’t specify if this was a permanent location or not. But if you’re looking for Belle, you may want to stop by and check!

We’ve learned a lot about what we can expect onboard, from Disney’s first-ever attraction at sea to a Frozen-inspired dining experience! But there are quite a few new ways to eat coming to this ship, and we’ve got ALL the details on another one for ya!
The Disney Wish will feature the first-ever Marvel dining adventure! Worlds of Marvel will let guests “play an interactive role in an action-packed Avengers mission that unfolds around them,” making this a truly immersive experience. In short: you’ll get to be a superhero WHILE you eat!
Dishes will be based off of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: that means we’ll have food inspired by Wakanda, Sokovia, and New York City. Sounds like there will be lots to try!
As far as the look and feel of the space: Disney’s hinted that the restaurant will have “state-of-the-art Pym Tech” with a “Stark-itecture style.” Sounds like the perfect setting for you to act out your superhero story — Disney’s even hinted that an “infamous foe” may appear!
We’ll be sure to keep you posted as Disney reveals even more details about this restaurant — and the rest of the ship! Stay tuned to DFB for more news.
The ship will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, just like Disney’s other cruises. As for what’s onboard? You’ll have a Star Wars lounge, a Marvel restaurant, that new Mickey-inspired ride, and TONS of activities for the kiddos.
Let’s get into the kids areas on the ship. Disney is known for having amazing kids areas that really take the Disney stories and bring them to the next level. This is definitely true for the Disney Wish! There will be immersive worlds themed to Marvel, Star Wars, Disney films, and Pixar stories. These areas will feature imaginative programs with the care and expertise of Disney-trained counselors.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club
Children ages 3 to 12 will enter the worlds of some of their favorite Disney stories in the reimagined Disney’s Oceaneer Club. Here kiddos will be able to experience, storytelling, arts and crafts, dress-up to toys, games and even watching Disney movies. Onboard the Disney Wish, the Oceaneer Club will be found on Deck 2, but the fun to enter starts on Deck 3, courtesy of a “secret” entrance that takes the form of a twisting slide. (I mean, I know I’m an adult, but I really want to go down that slide too!) When kiddos enter the hub, they will find it decorated with black-and-white sketches of Disney and Pixar characters. The hub will feature a stage and its own slate of special shows, activities and character appearances.
So what will the kids get to experience? Well, first things first will be Marvel Super Hero Academy. This will be a high-tech Avengers headquarters where young “recruits” will train to be the next generation of Super Heroes with the help of their own real-life heroes, like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp. Kids will begin by choosing a super hero suit from a selection of power sets based on Marvel heroes like Iron Man and Captain Marvel, and watching their choices become nanotech forms around mannequins in real-time. Then it will be time for “Avengers: Mission Training,” which will be a gesture-based technology game where they put their new suits and skills to the test as they virtually battle bad guys.
The next area where they can hang out will be Fairytale Hall. This will be a trio of activity rooms where kids will join some of their favorite Disney Princesses courtesy of Rapunzel’s Art Studio, Belle’s Library, and Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus. In Rapunzel’s Art Studio, kids will be able to make their own arts and crafts projects, like floating lanterns and paintings. Over in Belle’s Library, they will find a cozy corner for reading and acting out stories with the help of favorite Disney characters. An enchanted painting above the fireplace will even magically transform to bring the tales to life. Finally, in Anna and Elsa summer cabin, kids will unlock icy powers during “Frozen Fun,” a series of gesture-based games hosted by Olaf. These games will include snowball fights with friendly trolls and a hunt for mischievous Snowgies. ”
This next place is one that really has me wishing I was a kid again. In the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, it will be a first-of-its-kind opportunity for kids to discover the secrets of Disney Imagineers. Kids will be able to participate in hands-on activities and inventive experiments. Sorcerer Mickey, the ambassador of Walt Disney Imagineering, may even stop by to lend a wand to the newly minted magic makers. And one of the coolest things that the kids will be able to do is design roller coasters in the Ride Studio. Here kids will create a coaster along the lines of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain or Matterhorn Bobsleds and then, they will be able to climb into a capsule where they will virtually ride their attractions. Ok…seriously…this sounds amazing.
More new spaces and experiences at Disney’s Oceaneer Club will be revealed at a later date.
It’s A Small World Nursery
For the littlest cruisers ages 6 months to 3 years, It’s a Small World Nursery will offer babysitting services. Here, little ones will play games, make crafts, watch movies, read books and even spend time with special Disney friends under the expert care of Disney-trained counselors.
In the nursery, toddlers will take a playful trip around the world in the company of Disney, Pixar and Marvel characters reimagined as “it’s a small world” dolls. Each section of the space is themed to different areas of the world, with characters grouped by their homelands.
In the play room, magical murals will feature interactive hand cranks that trigger delightful effects. Little ones will be able to spark ice magic from Elsa’s hand, send Aladdin and Jasmine swaying on the magic carpet, uncover Flynn Rider as he clings to Rapunzel’s enchanted tresses, and more. A toy train will chug along the ceiling, filling the space with colorful lights, playful sounds and kinetic energy.
Edge
Older kids ages 11 to 17 will play in their own way aboard the Disney Wish, with trendy hangouts and counselor-led programming designed to engage the unique interests of tweens and teens. Featuring all-new looks that combine sophisticated design with youthful Disney touches, these clubs will offer customized fun and secret entry ways.
At Edge, tweens ages 11 to 14 will have fun in a bright, colorful hangout inspired by a chic New York City loft. A faux-grass picnic area and graphic art displays called “photo walls” will provide opportunities for tweens to capture shareable vacations pics. Edge will be found on deck 5, and the exclusive entrance will be hidden behind a framed piece of art that reimagines world-famous paintings in a pop art-inspired compilation of Disney characters, including Minnie as the ‘Girl with the Pearl Earring’ and Donald as Salvador Dali.
Vibe
Moving over to Vibe, which is the hangout for teens ages 14 to 17 will be an area inspired by a Parisian artists’ loft. This stylish space features classic architectural elements with an electric retro twist, with vibrant neon signs and funky pop art. Combine those with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean, and every angle in Vibe will offer a selfie-worthy backdrop.
