The table above shows the observed and predicted crowd levels for April 2021. We are expecting May to be very similar to April. Memorial Day weekend is the traditional start of summer crowds at Disney. Predictions for May 28, 2021, and summer 2021 we are assuming Disney will be operating at 50% of capacity. Disney has made no official word on change to current operations. If Disney stays at 35% of capacity, future crowd levels will be reduced.

The Art of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been available for preorder and was officially released today. Our Suspicions Were Right About Why John Stamos Was in Disney World 🧐

This past week, we spotted the one and only John Stamos filming in the Magic Kingdom!

Hey there!

We have had some ideas that he was there to film for the current season of American Idol for Disney night. And, it looks like our suspicions have been confirmed!

Entertainment Tonight has revealed that John Stamos will be a guest mentor to the performers on American Idol this year during the Disney Night episode! The top 9 contestants have traveled to Disney World to receive guidance from Stamos in the beautiful setting of the Magic Kingdom.

After the top 9 receive a mentoring session from Stamos, a comeback show winner will join them to perform Disney tunes during the event. Along with John Stamos, Oscar winner Jon Batiste — who helped score Disney and Pixar’s Soul — will perform a song from the film, as Sofia Carson from The Descendants also sings during a group performance with some of the contestants.

The other mentors this season are Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. Perry even talked about Stamos joining the others, noting “I think John probably said yes when he heard ‘Disney.’ The thing is, John and I are probably the biggest Disney fans. So he gets to go to Disney World with the kids, which is basically the greatest place on Earth, and so I’m a little jealous because they didn’t ask me. I would’ve totally done it!”

It’s John Stamos!

Disney Night will take place on Sunday, May 2nd, at 5PM PT/ 8PM ET on ABC as the voting takes place in real-time! Only 7 contestants will move forward in the American Idol competition after Disney Night, so you’ll want to make sure to tune in to vote for your favorite performers! And, you can keep up with DFB for all the latest Disney entertainment and news you need to know.

Former Disney World Cast Members Will Bring a CIRCUS to YOUR Front Door

Many Disney shows remain temporarily suspended, resulting in the layoff of entertainment Cast Members.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Is Now a Relaxation Station

While Festival of the Lion King is returning in mid-May — and we’re EXCITED — Disney hasn’t released a timeline for reinstating other shows like Fantasmic! or Finding Nemo: The Musical. As a result, many laid-off Cast Members are exploring other opportunities. And today, we’ve got a pretty awesome story to share with you!

Two Cast Members who worked at Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular have started their own business! Curbside Circus is “a circus show that comes straight to front doors.” The 30-minute show is full of props, stunts, and acrobatics, making it a great choice for birthday parties, house parties, and more.

The crazy cool thing about this show is that the stuntmen will drive up to your doorstep, set up in less than 5 minutes, and be ready to go! You can watch from a safe distance from your front porch or driveway, and after the show, there will be audience interaction and photo opportunities. Pretty awesome, right?!

The show can be booked for select weekdays and weekends for private residences in and around Orlando. The experience starts at $199, and you’ll be able to choose between a 1-man or 2-man show! If you’re looking for some at-home entertainment and want to support former Cast Members, you may wanna give this a try! You can visit Curbside Circus’ website to book.

Take an In-Depth Look at the Creative Process for Designing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in New Book

When Imagineers set out to create a new land, attraction or experience, we sometimes come up with hundreds of options for every element of the project. And no matter how great all of those options or elements might be, we always have to make the difficult choices in determining which versions of which concepts will make it to the final product. While we rarely have the opportunity to go in depth on our creative process and be able to share all these many options with our fans and our guests, there were so many fantastic pieces of concept artwork developed by the creative team for both Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and for the forthcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, we wanted to share these with you in a new book, The Art of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, written by Amy Ratcliffe.

As Disneyland Resort prepares to open to the public on April 30th, Cast Members visiting for previews have taken note of the COVID-19 safety measures around the park. We spotted the round physical distancing markers at Disneyland Park, which show guests where to wait. Physical distancing markers, seen in the waiting area of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland, are set six feet apart. The markers feature a classic green silhouette of Disneyland’s icon, Sleeping Beauty Castle. As with […]
