We’ve got a NEW DFB Snack Hack to fill you in on, my friends… and THIS one is coming to you straight from Magic Kingdom in an Adventureland and Frontierland Snack Mash-up!

Our new DFB Hack takes you to TWO Magic Kingdom Lands!

We love bringing you oodles of DFB Snack Hacks from around the World, like a boozy twist on our beloved Kakamora Float and a not-so-little somethin’ called the Cheesy Bacon Donut. And we’re pretty darn happy with our newest combo, if we do say so ourselves, because it combines TWO epic treats in a new twist that we think our fellow Churro and Dole Whip fans may want to get in on!

Without further ado, we proudly present… the COCONUT DOLE WHIP CHURRO SUNDAE!

Coconut Dole Whip Churro Sundae

Let’s break this thing down! First, mosey on over to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café in Frontierland.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe

Order up the Churros! Pecos Bill serves up Churros in bite-sized portions, and the Chocolate Dipping Sauce is included for $5.89.

Churro Bites from Pecos Bill

Next, say “Aloha” to Aloha Isle! (BTW, even though it’s in Adventureland, it’s just a few steps away.)

Aloha Isle

Place your Mobile Order for a cup of Coconut Dole Whip!

Coconut Dole Whip from Aloha Isle

You can see where we’re going with this… 😉

The Hack Components!

Top that pile of fried cinnamon-and-sugar goodness with the Coconut soft-serve to go a la mode, or tuck those churros into the Dole Whip! And be sure to put that chocolate dipping sauce to work, too!

Coconut Dole Whip Churro Sundae

You could also simply scoop up the Dole Whip like a dip with a Churro Bite

YUM!

No matter which way… BAM! You’ve got yourself a COCONUT DOLE WHIP CHURRO SUNDAE!

It’s ok if things get a little melty…

Coconut. Chocolate. Cinnamon. Sugar. Cool. Creamy. Fried. And altogether GLORIOUS.

NEWS: Florida Governor Extends State of Emergency Again

Things continue to evolve as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Minnie Mouse knows the importance of a comfortable face covering!

As vaccines continue to be distributed across the United States, states are looking at how they may ease restrictions to slowly make their way back to normalcy. And today, the CDC relaxed guidelines for outdoor mask wearing. However, Florida’s State of Emergency remains in place — and in fact, that order was just extended.

According to Click Orlando, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has extended the State of Emergency by another 60 days, following a pattern of extensions that has taken place since the order’s declaration on March 9th, 2020.

Florida Sunset

The order allows DeSantis to “direct funds as necessary for supplies, equipment and personnel needs.” However, the State of Emergency does not impose any travel restrictions on the state, so any trips to Florida should not be impacted. In fact, DeSantis recently filed a lawsuit over cruise restrictions, in an attempt to further open travel to the state.

We’ll continue to keep you updated as this situation evolves, so stay tuned to DFB.

Good news if you’re visiting Disney World in the next few months!

Magic Kingdom

We’ve been reporting that Disney World Park Pass reservations have been going FAST. As a reminder, you’ll need one of these in addition to a valid theme park ticket in order to visit the parks! Disney has a habit of refilling these Park Passes as the dates in question grow closer, and now, we’ve seen some availability open up in May and June.

Previously, Park Passes for May and June were pretty slim pickings! Most dates were yellow, with some even completely grayed out.

©Disney

Now, we’ve got some GREEN in there! Our reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) alerted us to the change, which could have a big impact on your trip to Disney World. For Theme Park Ticket guests, we’re seeing a lot more green in May…

…and full availability on weekdays in June!

©Disney

As usual, we’re seeing a similar case for select Resort Guests.

©Disney

In fact, the availability calendars are lookin’ identical!

Lastly, Annual Passholders have seen LOTS of space free up. In May, most weekdays are wide open (with the exception of May the 4th, of course!)…

VIDEO: Take a FULL Ride Through Snow White’s Enchanted Wish Before It Opens in Disneyland

Disneyland may be a few days away from its grand reopening, but Cast Member previews have officially kicked off! That’s right, for the first time in over 400 days, there are currently guests INSIDE Disneyland!

Disneyland

One of the most highly anticipated changes that has come to Disneyland is the reimagining of Snow White’s Scary Adventures, now re-themed and renamed to Snow White’s Enchanted Wish!

We first heard about this refurb wayyy back in 2019, when Disney promised new “state-of-the-art audio and visual technology,” musiclaser projectionsLED black lighting, and more cool tech. We’ve been following the progress closely — and we even gave ya a first look at the new scenes! Now, it’s finally time to take a look at Snow White’s Enchanted Wish and go on a FULL ride through!

Sure, some of the new scenes remind us a bit of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Disney World, but we love the special touches that make this reimagined attraction all its own. We’ll keep checking out everything new from Disneyland’s reopening throughout the week  — and we’ll bring you ALL the details! Stay tuned to DFB.

PHOTOS: Construction Walls Up Around The Jungle Cruise at Disneyland as Cultural Sensitivity Changes are Made

disneyland-jungle-cruise-construction-walls-4-6142724

The Jungle Cruise is undergoing a refurbishment to address inclusion and cultural sensitivity issues at both Disneyland Park and the Magic Kingdom. It was previously announced that unlike the Magic Kingdom, where the Jungle Cruise remains open during refurbishment, the Disneyland attraction would not reopen with the park on April 30th. We confirmed today at Cast Member previews that construction walls have been installed around the Jungle Cruise. Walls block off any potential view into the Jungle Cruise. Tarps have […]

Adventures by Disney Adds Amazon Escape Option to Galapagos Island Expedition

Before guests set foot onboard their Adventures by Disney Galápagos Islands Expedition Cruise, they can experience 5–6 days of fun amid the lush Napo River and surrounding Amazon Basin forests on the Amazon Escape.

This is the perfect pre-adventure to the Galápagos Islands Expedition Cruise.

Guests will visit a small village where they’ll meet the locals of the area and take home some of their authentic craftwork. They’ll enjoy a leisurely kayak ride or go for a relaxing swim in the waters that make up Yasuni National Park. And guests won’t soon forget the moment they enter the rainforest after dusk and go looking for unique nocturnal animals. Along the way, guests can explore their finely appointed vessel with three levels, an observation deck, multiple sitting areas, an outdoor whirlpool spa, and an alfresco lounge.

It’s important to note that this Amazon Escape add-on is available only to guests who are currently booked on the Adventures by Disney Galápagos Islands Expedition Cruise.

If you book your Adventures by Disney vacation through Dreams Unlimited Travel – the official sponsor of the DIS – you can receive an exclusive early booking discount based on the price of your adventure at the time of booking.

Park Pass Availability for Disney’s Hollywood Studios Replenished for Many May and June Dates

tower-of-terror-featured-image-hero-hollywood-studios-03162021-8206194

While availability for Park Passes has been limited since the Walt Disney World Resort parks reopened, Disney has commonly added additional reservation slots as certain peak times approached, and this ‘refilling’ of reservations has once again occurred today — specifically for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. For many weekdays over the course of May and June 2021, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is once again available, specifically on weekends. Weekends do not seem to have been re-upped at all, nor has May 4th — […]

PHOTOS: “Harmonious” Barges Being Cleaned and Painted at EPCOT

harmonious-cleaning-painting-10

There were plenty of crew members on World Showcase Lagoon in EPCOT this morning as they cleaned and painted some of the “Harmonious” barges parked in the water. Crew members were atop this barge, as well as on a boat to the side. The crew was pressure washing some of the exterior closest to the water. The other crew members were likely working on more technical elements. The other side of the barge was freshly washed and therefore looked darker. […]

Like We Needed Another Reason to Visit Baseline Tap House in Disney World…

Greetings from Grand Avenue in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

BaseLine Tap House

We’re stopping by one of our favorite watering holes in the park — BaseLine Tap House! BaseLine serves up California brews along with a few tasty bites. Aside from some seasonal selections, though, we don’t come across too many changes on the menu very often. But that changed today when we spotted something called the “BaseLine Bundle” on the menu!

So… what exactly is included in the BaseLine Bundle, you ask?

BaseLine Bundle on the Menu

When you spy it under Small Plates, you’ll see that it includes the HUGE Bavarian Pretzel (with that yummy spicy mustard and beer cheese fondue for dipping) and your choice of Draft Beer… COMPLETE with a BaseLine souvenir cup for $20.00!

TA DA!!! The BaseLine BUNDLE

Keep in mind that the Bavarian Pretzel is $9.00 on its own, and a beer will run you from $9.75 – $10.50, so basically, the take-home cup is pretty much FREE.

TA DA!!! The BaseLine BUNDLE

If you haven’t seen it previously, the plastic cup holds 22 ounces and is emblazoned with the BaseLine Tap House logo.

Baseline Tap House Souvenir Cup

By the way, the current Sierra Nevada Seasonal selection is Summer Break… CHEERS!

Summer Break in Souvenir Cupp house

We’re not sure how long the BaseLine Bundle will be available (though we did hear that there are plenty of cups around — at least for now)… so BUNDLE UP while you can at BaseLine!
