When it comes to Disney World resorts, there are plenty of options for different styles and budgets!

Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has been at Disney World for a while now, but have you ever stayed here? Not only is it home to the Disney Skyliner hub, but it has a relaxing and beach-y feel throughout. Today, we’re taking you on a room tour of a Pirates Room at Caribbean Beach Resort!

We recently did room tours of two value resorts — Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. At Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, we stayed in a Pirates Room with a standard view. As far as pricing goes, the Pirate Rooms are slightly more expensive than the standard rooms and are around $332 a night currently. For a small price, you can upgrade from a standard view to a water view. The water view is about $338 a night. So let’s check out the Pirates Room!

Pirates Room at Caribbean Beach Resort

The Pirates Room at Caribbean Beach Resort comes with two double beds and sleeps up to 4 adults.

Pirates Beds

The coolest part about the Pirates Room versus the regular-themed room? The pirate ship beds! This is one of the most unique beds in all of Disney World for sure, and it is incredibly detailed.

Pirate Ship Bed

Not only is there a wheel and mast at the top of the bed, but the bottom really looks like a boat! There are even places for the canons like on the ships in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

In between the two double beds, there is a nightstand in the shape of a barrel. There is room in the bottom half to store any of your belongings with a phone on top.

Nightstand

The best part of the nightstand is the number of places to plug in your devices! Some hotels lack in outlets, but there are 4 regular outlets and 2 USB outlets on this one nightstand alone.

Outlets

Along the other wall, there is a little sitting area with a small table and two chairs.

Sitting Area

Some guests may not realize what the table is, but big fans of Pirates of the Caribbean will recognize that the table is inspired by Jack Sparrow’s iconic compass! This is a great area to eat if you end up having a meal or snack in your room.

Table

By the door, you’ll find a window with dark curtains to keep out the light while you are sleeping.

Window

Out of the window, you’ll see the pathway leading up to other rooms and the rest of the resort. The view varies depending on which room you get, but this is the type of view you can expect with a standard view room.

A lovely view!

Right across from the beds, you’ll see a flat-screen television and a dresser that looks like several crates stacked on top of each other.

Dresser and Television

The crate doors open to reveal some pretty deep drawers to store your clothes or goodies from the parks!

Dresser

On top of the dresser, we found the cleaned remote wrapped in a plastic bag. Since Disney World resorts reopened, there have been many enhanced cleaning procedures.

Cast Members focus on specific areas including door handles, light switches, electronic devices, bathroom amenities, and other spots that are frequently touched.

To the left of the dresser is a barrel, but when you open it up, you’ll find a mini-fridge! There are three shelves to sit your food and/or drinks on in this mini-fridge.

Mini Fridge

On top of the same barrel, there is a coffee maker for those early morning park days and an ice bucket.

Coffee!

Next to the mini-fridge and coffee, there is a large chest that offers more storage! There is also plenty of room on top to store your suitcases or souvenirs.

Chest

On the wall, you’ll find a framed piece of artwork featuring none other than Jack Sparrow! The art is based on the final scene of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

Separating the bathroom area from the bedroom is a Pirates of the Caribbean curtain!

Pirates of the Caribbean Curtain

The details in this room seem to never end because even the curtain rods are themed! The ends of the curtain rod are in the shape of a pirate sword! How cool is that?!

Sword Detail!

Behind the curtain is a vanity with two sinks. If you look closely, you can see the Pieces of Eight from the movies on the edge of the mirror!

Bathroom Vanity

To the right, you’ll see some extras like hangers, an ironing board and iron, and extra pillows and blankets.

Extra Amenities

There is also a safe on the wall to keep your most important possessions safe while you are out having fun.

Safe

At the vanity, there is magnifying mirror to help you get ready in the mornings.

To the left, you’ll find the rest of the bathroom separated by a door with a full-length mirror.

Bathroom

The floor throughout the room looks like wooden planks on a pirate ship. Behind the door, you’ll find a toilet and shower.

Bathroom

The shower has a small ledge near the back and has the reusable shampoo, conditioner, and soap attached to the wall.

And that’s a wrap on the Pirates Room at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! While there are many themed rooms on Disney World property, this is a MUST do for diehard Pirates of the Caribbean fans.
