Guys, it’s been a RAINY day in Disney World.
Hello, rain!
We’ve experienced our fair share of stormy Disney days, and we don’t let the weather stop our trips to the parks. But boy can the rain be brutal! Now, you may know that at 1PM, practically everyone in Disney’s Hollywood Studios pauses what they’re doing to try and get a Rise of the Resistance boarding group. Combine that with the rain? You’ll get some MAJOR crowding, as we saw today.
We first noticed the congestion as we walked through Grand Avenue. People were piled inside the tunnel crossing into Galaxy’s Edge!
That’s a lot of people!
We made our way inside to see what was going on, and guys — it was PACKED.
YIKES.
Of course, people wanted to stay out of the rain. It’s only natural, right?! They needed a dry spot to pull over and try to snag that boarding group — and it seemed like everyone had the SAME idea as to where.
People keep comin’!
We’re guessing social distancing was not on people’s minds, and it clearly wasn’t happening in this situation.

Bye, crowds!
While this congested spot didn’t stick around long, it is something you could encounter on your trip to Disney. If social distancing is a concern, be mindful of spots where crowds could gather — especially in the rain! Small shops (or really ANYWHERE with cover) could all look like this. But hey, good luck getting that boarding group.
