Review: Disney World’s New Drink Is a Pina Colada (With a TWIST)!

We’ve been trying LOTS of new treats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today, but we haven’t forgotten about EPCOT!

China Pavilion

We’re hopping over to the China Pavilion to try a brand-new drink at Joy of Tea! This kiosk is home to one of our favorite quick eats in the park, the Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken, so we’re excited to try their newest offering.

The Sunset Cocktail is made with Jose Cuervo Tequla Gold, light rum, strawberry syrup, Pina Colada mix, soda water, and milk foam. Sounds like a fun twist on a classic Pina Colada, right?! Let’s give it a try!

Sunset Cocktail

Right off the bat, we noticed just how STRONG this drink was. So if you’re drinking around the world, down this sip with caution! Other than that, it tasted pretty similar to your everyday strawberry Pina Colada. Tasty, right?!

This is STRONG, people!

However, the milky foam added a fun (and unique!) element. It’s probably not for everyone, but we found it really yummy!

We love the flower on top!

At $12.75, this is on the pricey side for a cocktail, but you may be able to justify the purchase considering how unique it is. This definitely isn’t a sip you can just whip up at home!

We’d recommend giving it a try!

If you’re in the mood for a Pina Colada with a little pizzazz, swing by Joy of Tea and give it a try! And stay tuned to DFB — we’ll keep ya posted with the latest Disney news.
