We’re Headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
With Earth Day coming up on April 22nd, Disney’s Animal Kingdom has started the celebrations early! There will be some unique treats and activities available throughout Earth Month in Disney World, but today we’re in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a very special drink. Why is it special you ask? Oh, no big deal, it’s just TOPPED WITH COTTON. CANDY.
At Isle of Java in Disney’s Animal Kingdom you can grab the NEW Cotton Top Lagoon drink! You can also get the Red Crowned Crane drink there too! 2 drinks topped with cotton candy?! We’ve gotta know what these are like.

Cotton Candy and Expedition Everest, A Great Start to the Day
Well, let’s just say, you might need to call your dentist after drinking this one. Goodness gracious, this thing was SWEEEEEET! Our reporter even said they didn’t think they’d be able to finish the entire drink because it was just SO sweet.
OOOOO Just Look at That Cotton Candy and the Drink Below!
Flavor-wise though, they said it is good. There is a bit of tanginess from the lemon, and sweetness from the blue raspberry. But, mostly, it tastes like you’re basically DRINKING cotton candy.
If you’ve always dreamt about what cotton candy would taste like in liquid form or you’re a big fan of sweet drinks, this might be a good choice for you.
Ready for a Super Sweet Treat?!
Overall, the drink was really icy and cold. We could see this being a great treat on those extremely hot Florida days.
Our reporter said this drink was too sweet for them, but it might be just the right level of sweetness for you if you really enjoy those types of drinks. We think kids might especially enjoy this icy treat.
Cotton Candy on All Drinks From Now On or No?
If you’re looking for more of a typical lemonade flavor or a frozen drink that isn’t as sweet though, this is probably a “skip” for you.
