There are two new brownies at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but only one is worth sinking your sweet tooth into. Near Voyage of the Little Mermaid, a place at which Ariel has lost her voice as the show is still not operating, a popcorn cart offers a Seaside Brownie. Seems silly to have a themed brownie for an attraction that’s not open, but it’s yummy enough that we can forgive the awkwardness.
The Seaside Brownie is just $5.00, which is on the lower end of the spectrum as specialty desserts go. With the Seaside Brownie name I was hoping it had a pinch of sea salt in it, but Ivonne reports its a simple chocolate fudge brownie, in a cup. The graham cracker crumb garnish, and white chocolate seahorse elevate this brownie, making it a special treat.
A few weeks ago a Mickey Mouse Brownie debuted. Our team was disappointed both in the value due to its portion size and the overall taste. Between the two new brownies we’d recommend flipping your fins to the Seaside Brownie.
What do you think of the Seaside Brownie? Would you give it a try?
