REVIEW: The Taco & Margarita Combo You Didn’t Know You Needed in Disney World

If there are two things EPCOT is known for, it’s the eats and the drinks!!

Spaceship Earth

Not only has the Flower and Garden Festival brought us some delish treats this spring, but some of our regular stops are dropping some brand-new bites and we’re here to tell ya’ all about it!

Choza de Margarita at EPCOT is a great quick-service option for margaritas — especially if you don’t feel like facing the crowds inside the Mexico pavilion.

Choza de Margarita at EPCOT

And today we spotted some new menu items that we HAD to try out!

Choza de Margarita Menu Updates

The new-to-us Wild Passion Margarita might just be the perfect springtime cocktail! The margarita is made with Centinela Blanco tequila, Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur, fresh lime juice agave, Agave Nector, Nixta Corn liquor, and completed with a hibiscus salt rim. Seriously, just look how stunning this drink looks!

Wild Passion Margarita

The purple from the hibiscus salt rim really gives the drink a nice pop of color! The drink itself wasn’t too strong, especially compared to some of the other Mexico margaritas. At $14.75, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a fruity drink without too much kick or sweetness!

The newest addition to the drink-around-the-world-tour!

We also wanted to taste a regular item on the menu and tried the Tacos de Cochinita for $10.50. These tacos come filled with Citrus-Marinated Pulled Pork and covered in Pickled Red Onions and Mango Habanero Relish served on Corn Tortillas with a side of Corn Esquites. The menu used to have Tacos al Pastor which included grilled pork on homemade corn tortillas with green tomatillo sauce, onion, pineapple, and cilantro, but the menu has been updated with this dish we tried!

Tacos and a marg…yes please!

The pulled pork was cooked really well and not at all dry. The corn esquites had a really nice spice to them. We certainly wish we had gotten more of the relish, though, but that was really our only complaint While the tacos were good, you only get two, so we might recommend heading to San Angel Inn or La Cantina de San Angel for some bigger portions!

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with these finds at Choza de Margarita and can’t wait to see what else they come up with! Check back in with us as we keep you up-to-date with all the new food offerings around Disney!
