Wayyy back in 2018, we told you about an exciting new addition coming to Tokyo Disney Resort!

A Toy Story-themed hotel was on the way! The hotel, scheduled to open sometime in the fiscal year 2021, would transport guests to Andy’s bedroom for some toy-sized fun. Sounds pretty cool, right?! And now, Disney’s clued us in on another important detail: the hotel’s NAME!
The hotel’s official name will be the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel (hey, pretty straightforward!). It will be the fifth Disney hotel in Japan — but the first of the “moderate” resort tier. And it’s located directly in front of Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line, giving guests easy access to both Tokyo Disney parks!

This exciting news comes as we’re gearing up for new Tangled and Peter Pan areas in Tokyo DisneySea. Looks like lots of fun stuff is on the way!

The hotel will have 595 guest rooms and 11 floors. We’ll keep a close eye out for an opening date and let ya know when Disney announces it! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.
