Disney has announced that a “special moment” will take place and be broadcast live tonight from the Disneyland Resort as they prepare for what will surely be a historic week of welcoming back theme park guests after their extended closure.

Tonight, viewers are invited to step inside of the gates of Disneyland to “reawaken its unique magic” that guests and cast members have been missing for more than a year.

In this heartfelt presentation, Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, and Ken Potrock, president of the Disneyland Resort will share messages of optimism and gratitude to the cast members of the Disneyland Resort. 

The cast at Disneyland is excited to provide viewers with a live look at the reawakened Sleeping Beauty Castle in the heart of Disneyland.

It is our wish that it may represent a beacon of hope for Disney fans everywhere.
