On my family’s first trip to the Universal Orlando Resort, we made a day trip over from Disney, as many do. Armed with Park-to-Park tickets, Express Passes, and fueled by unlimited Coke Freestyle refills, it was a whirlwind side trip but a definite highlight. Having little kids at the time, the big roller coasters weren’t on the itinerary, but sticking to our list of must-do attractions worked great.

Of course, since then Universal has added to its offerings, and the kids have grown into those coasters, so a single side trip is not enough. Two days in the parks can work, but 3 or 4 park days are even better. That’s why Universal’s Fun Four Days ticket promo is perfect, because it adds two FREE days onto any 2-day ticket purchase!

The down side is that this promotion is ending soon! Tickets must be purchased by April 27th. In good news, these tickets can be booked for travel dates through December 17, 2021, so you don’t have to travel right now to take advantage. With Universal using date-based pricing, savings vary based on the first day of the ticket, but you do not need to use the tickets on 4 consecutive days, they are valid for a 7-day window beginning on your ticket’s start date. There are no blockout dates. 

There are several ticket types included in this promotion: 

• 2-Park 4-Day Base Promo Ticket (One admission to either Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure per day) 
• 2-Park 4-Day Park-to-Park Promo Ticket (Admission to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure on the same day) 
• 2-Park 4-Day Base Promo Ticket (One admission to either Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure or Volcano Bay per day)
• 2-Park 4-Day Park-to-Park Promo Ticket (Admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay on the same day) 

Obviously this deal can save you quite a bit of money, especially if you have a larger travel group or you have older kids. Kids 10 and up are considered “Adults” for Universal ticketing purposes, which is normal for a theme park. So as your kids get older, those ticket prices start adding up. Besides drawing straws to see which kid gets left home, this is the next best way to save some significant money for Butterbeers. 

If you had already planned to get 3- or 4-day tickets, the savings is obviously substantial. But even if you had originally only planned on 2 days in the parks, this ticket deal can be beneficial for you. While you can manage to see all of Universal Studios in 2 days with a great touring plan, early entry, and Express Passes, 4 days in the parks makes for a much more leisurely and relaxed experience. There is so much to see and explore, you’ll be grateful for the extra time. I don’t know about you, but I could spend a whole day practicing spells with my interactive wand in The Wizarding World. 

Even with a 3-night stay, a 4-day ticket will come in handy because you’ll have the flexibility to visit the parks on arrival day and departure day. You could also upgrade to a 3-park ticket and visit Volcano Bay Water Theme Park as well. While Universal used to be an add-on for many guests who were in Orlando visiting Walt Disney World, it’s become quite a destination of its own. Trust me, you’ll be happy to have these 4-day tickets. 

These promotional tickets are available on their own or as part of a package with a resort stay. Pairing the 4-day tickets with a Universal Premier Resort stay makes for the ultimate stress-free Universal vacation. Guests staying at a Premier resort get FREE Unlimited Express passes. This means you can skip the line on all included attractions an unlimited number of times each day. 

Booking either Universal tickets alone or Universal vacation packages through TouringPlans Travel gets you the added benefit of Early Park Admission. You’ll be able to access The Wizarding World and other select attractions at one or both theme parks 60-90 minutes before park opening. Volcano Bay Early Park Admission is 30-60 minutes before posted opening time, and most of the attractions are available.
