We’ve spotted our share of Disney merchandise fails — sometimes, even Disney just can’t get it right.
Spaghetti Stitch Line
Seriously, we’ve seen it all — from misspelled door hangers to a cringe-worthy Single Rider t-shirt. We’ve even seen a Stitch plush with terrifying red eyes.
And we’ve now found a keychain that defies explanation, and it’s kinda terrifying. AND we’ve seen it at Disney Parks on both coasts! Here it is as discovered in Mouse Gear at EPCOT. So is it just us or is this alien foaming at the mouth? 
EEP! Is this the sequel to Cujo?
WHAT IS THIS THING?
We also spotted it in California at World of Disney in Downtown Disney. Yep, still terrifying!
What is going on here?
It’s totally supposed to be like a miniature figure of the Alien Popcorn Bucket…
Is it supposed to be this?
…but somehow, this design didn’t translate well to a keychain. At all. And its eyes totally look like they are popping out of its head. We have SO many questions! In the end, though, this new keychain is the stuff of nightmares, and we can’t unsee it!
