Y’all!!! We are only ONE week away from Disneyland reopening, and in case you hadn’t noticed — we are EXCITED!
Disneyland just opened up dining reservations, released a brand NEW merchandise collection, showed us how Cast Members are dying to see us again, and added mobile order to even more restaurants! And after spending HOURS waiting in a virtual line, we GOT OUR TICKETS!
Prior to all that, though, we spent some time wandering around the area, seeing what’s new, what’s changing, and what’s been updated. So let’s get on with it!
Disneyland General Updates
Cast Member previews have begun, and we spotted Cast members entering the gates on the far right of the esplanade. And maybe we got a little teary-eyed to see the Disneyland Railroad up and running! We also noticed some new social distancing markers had been added to the esplanade leading up to the Disneyland gates.
It’s getting real, you guys!

Disneyland Hotel
We still don’t have a reopening date for the Disneyland Hotel, but we did notice that more permanent fencing and gates have been installed around the area. This is likely for scanning resort guests onto the property.
We’ll let you know if Disney announces a reopening date for this hotel!
