Disney World is a pretty fun place to hang out.
That’s part of the reason why we’ve spent the last few days exploring the theme parks to bring YOU updates on all the latest changes. So, here’s a check-in on everything NEW in food, construction, and merchandise in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Anandapur Ice Cream Truck
First up, Anandapur Ice Cream Truck is now using a spinner holder to give cones to guests. That means no more cones served upside down in a cup. Woohoo!
We also spotted that the Yeti Sundae and Everest Macaroons are gone now.

Harambe Fruit Market
Over at Harambe Fruit Market, Mickey Pretzels were available but there were no Simba Pretzels to be found.
Isle of Java
And the Baby Tuk Tuk Mousse is unavailable at all locations except for Isle of Java.
Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
Various Locations
When it comes to construction, we spotted that a health measure has disappeared in various locations throughout the park. Some hand washing stations have been removed!
We noticed this in some other parks as well.

Kali River Rapids
The recently-reopened Kali River Rapids queue has seen some updates. Now, the line wraps around the Gibbons with new ropes and social distancing markers.
Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Riverside Depot
Now, on to the merch! The new reusable merch collection introduced a Reusable Water Bottle for $22.99…
…and a Reusable Utensil Set.
We gave the utensil set a try so stay tuned to DFB for our full product review!

Island Mercantile

Serka Zong Bazaar
We’ve been seeing a LOT of Expedition Everest merchandise recently, and now we can add this Expedition Everest Gear Longsleeve Shirt for $39.99. Find it in the store at the exit of the attraction.
Yak & Yeti Market
And finally, Yak & Yeti Market was selling Boxed Tea Sets with 25 Bags for $8.99 each.
