EPCOT Construction Updates
Pin Traders
In terms of construction updates, there are quite a few things going on in EPCOT as part of that park’s MASSIVE transformation. A few weeks ago, we shared that a major store in EPCOT — Pin Traders — would be closing for 3 WEEKS!
The store was originally set to close on April 19th, but it was actually open that day! When we returned on April 20th, however, the store was officially closed and construction walls were up.
Construction walls are up!
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more details on this store closure and construction, and keep you updated!

EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Dapper Day Essentials
If you’re searching for the perfect look to use for Dapper Day, EPCOT is the place to go! While you may be familiar with the Dapper Day organization for the events they host in the parks, where guests dress up in some fantastic outfits, they also have their own line of clothing and other items. Right now, through April 26th, you can find their Dapper Day pop-up shop in EPCOT near the Germany pavilion.

The Fjording Shop
At The Fjording Shop in EPCOT’s Norway pavilion, we spotted a Helly Hansen toiletry bag. We’re not sure how long it has been available, but the bag was new-to-us.

House of Good Fortune
In the China pavilion, we stopped by the House of Good Fortune shop and spotted some very unique items for sale. In Disney World, you expect to buy Minnie ears, shoes, spirit jerseys, and those typical items. But, did you know you might also be able to go furniture shopping?!
While we were at the House of Good Fortune, we noticed that some of the furniture in the new Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month display are actually for sale!
You can literally buy the desk
Want to bring home a new desk? How about a Duan Ink Slab? You can do that! But it’ll cost you!! One of the items — a chair with marble details — was actually priced at $1,800!!!!

And there was another item that was even PRICIER! But hey, if you’re looking for something unique to bring to your home or apartment, you can get in that furniture shopping during your next trip to EPCOT.

Also at the House of Good Fortune, we found a very useful souvenir that you might actually be really thankful for during your Disney World trip or even at home. We’re talking about mask chains!
The mannequin has a mask chain!
Mask chains can be a great way to hold onto your mask when you take it off — that way you don’t place it down on a dirty surface. So, if you’re looking for one in Disney World, you can head to the House of Good Fortune to grab one.
