What’s New in Magic Kingdom: More Mobile Order Options and a Celebrity Sighting!

Hey, everyone! We’ve been to Magic Kingdom this week to check out all the latest and greatest!

Welcome to Magic Kingdom!

And we’re here now with some updates to keep you in the loop about new merchandise, food, and more! Let’s get to it!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Mobile Order

Disney World has added THREE more restaurants to Mobile Order, and we are so happy we can now order our favorite snacks from Sunshine Tree Terrace, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, and Friar’s Nook right from our phones!

When we checked out Sleepy Hollow, we spotted guests waiting on their orders nearby.

The Plaza Restaurant

We already told you about a price increase for the Mickey Celebration Cakes. But the placard at The Plaza Restaurant still had the old price of $35.

They’re still $35 here!

We do expect that to change soon to the new price of $39.

The Lunching Pad

So, this was interesting. We saw both lunch AND breakfast items being served at The Lunching Pad…at 9:30AM.

Lunch for breakfast? Okay!

We’ve heard of having breakfast for lunch, but lunch for breakfast?

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Uptown Jewelers

Those very cool Harveys Play in the Park bags have arrived at Uptown Jewelers!

The new Harveys collection has arrived!

We especially like the Disney World Circle Bag that has a spinner to help us decide where to go next.

Emporium

We’re surprised Disney JUST thought to do this, but you can now get a Han Solo Trapped In Carbonite phone case for $34.99. And it’s pretty sweet for Star Wars fans.

Why did it take Disney so long to make this phone case?

We also found some Mousewares bag clips for $14.99.

Cute bag clips!

And we dig this Conqueror of Mountains mug for $19.99.

Climb every mountain…

And the Olaf “Samantha?” hat just makes us giggle.

Samantha?

The hat is $27.99.

Here’s How Disney’s Latest Sidekick Character Came To Be

Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.

Hello to even more new phone cases. We spotted the Han Solo in Carbonite phone case here, too, along with a super cool Mickey 3D case.

Shiny!

Of course, there’s a Minnie 3D phone case, too.

Minnie in 3D!

If you can’t choose just one character, there’s a Fab Four (is that a thing?) phone case.

The Fab Four!

We always spot some fun phone cases here!

Frontier Trading Post

We spotted some new The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Funko Pops, including Baron Zemo

Baron Zemo

…Falcon…

Falcon!

…and Winter Soldier!

Bucky!

These are going to be REALLY popular now that the season finale of the show has aired — so grab ’em while they’re available!

Magic Kingdom Attraction Updates

Barnstormer

Barnstormer got a little bit of a makeover — the props around the coaster have gotten some TLC with fresh paint!

Looking nice!

We also noticed the sun shades looked refreshed, too!

Spiffied up

We expect to see a lot of repainting going on prior to the big 50th anniversary celebration later this year!

Pinocchio Village Haus

Speaking of things getting refreshed, we noticed that the roof of Pinocchio Village Haus has been freshly painted.

BRIGHT blue

It looks so vibrant now!

Magic Kingdom General Updates

Tomorrowland

Have Mercy! We spotted none other than John Stamos (who also just happens to be a massive Disney fan) doing some filming near Tomorrowland!

It’s John Stamos!

It was a warm day, and Uncle Jessie was a little hot, so he was occasionally using a little portable fan.

Monorail

We noticed some new seating diagram signs at both the Ticket & Transportation Center and Magic Kingdom Monorail Stations.

That does it for our time here at Magic Kingdom, but we’ll be back soon with even more updates. See you then!
