7 Funny Things We Saw in Disney World This Week

Well, friends, we’re wrapping up another week in the parks!

Cinderella Castle

And it’s been a wild one! Between Disneyland reopening, the PeopleMover staying open a whole week (kinda), and some BIG Disney Cruise Line news, we’ve been BUSY. But we’ve still been takin’ daily trips to the parks…and boy have we seen some things. So of course, we’ve gotta share it all with you! Here are the funniest things we’ve seen in Disney World this week.

1. A Sad, Tiny Donald

We were moseying through Frontierland when we saw a really unfortunate sight. A teeny tiny Donald Duck had been dumped on top of a trash can!

Oh no, Donald!

Let’s zoom in on this little guy. Doesn’t he look kinda shocked from the tumble? He even lost his hat! Poor Donald. What an undignified way to be left behind.

We can’t tell if this is sad or funny.

We’re wishin’ him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

2. Things That Didn’t Make it to Lost and Found

When you lose something in Disney World, it typically gets walked over to Lost and Found, where you can go pick it up at the end of the day. Right?! Well, apparently that’s not always the case. Just take a look at Exhibit A. That is not a cheap hat, people.

It was left here so deliberately? On a fence?

And hey, lest you think that’s the whole hat that’s been left behind…check out this fashion statement! Abandoned in the bushes. We bet someone’s at home missing that.

Now, THIS is a fashion statement.

We’ve seen this happen far too often, from Dole Whips to Mickey balloons. And guys, it’s kinda funny every time.

3. Donald’s Wardrobe Malfunction

Apparently, Donald was having a pretty rough week! We were watching his cavalcade in Disney’s Animal Kingdom when we noticed that he was chillin’ towards the back of the boat, instead of dancing in the middle with Daisy and Launchpad.

You good there, Donald?

Now, we can only assume that poor Donald had suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. Hey, we’ve ALL been there! But he was tucked in the corner, trying his best to dance with his arms (er…wings?), and THAT made us laugh.

Good effort, Donald!

Better luck next time, Donald!

4. Remnants of a Photo Shoot

Now, we all know that people take LOTS of pictures in front of Cinderella Castle. From family photos to birthday photos to pics “just because,” there’s always someone posing around there. But this week, we spotted a ghost of photoshoots past.

Well THIS is something we didn’t expect to see!

This couple brought a great prop for what we can only assume were engagement photos and then…left it there? It does add a nice little touch to the fencing, but we can’t say it matches the overall theme of the area.

Poor thing. Left behind.

We hope they have a happy engagement! And maybe next time, they’ll remember to take their props with them. 😉

5. Rubber Ducks

We dealt with some MAJOR rain earlier this week in Disney World, and someone decided to take advantage of that in a hilarious way. While we were waiting in line for our beloved PeopleMover, we spotted something that made us do a double-take. Did ya notice it?

Yes, someone put RUBBER DUCKS out in the pouring rain. They looked right at home in the puddles, but we have so many questions. Who brought rubber ducks to Magic Kingdom?! Why were there 2 of them?! Were they having a good time?!

Can ya spot them?

We can only imagine they were patiently waiting their turn to ride the PeopleMover, just like the rest of us.

6. These Fashion Icons

Frontierland throws it back to ye olden days of the wild, wild west, which means we get treated to some nice pieces of history. And we can’t NOT show you these iconic outfits framed in Splash Down Photos (that’s the Splash Mountain gift shop!).

Please go look for this next time. You won’t be disappointed.

We think the plaid jacket and matching pants are a great statement. Should they sell these outfits in the gift shop? We say absolutely yes.

7. Jungle Cruise Puns

It’s no secret that the Jungle Cruise is FULL of puns. And sure, they vary in hilarity, but we found some pretty good ones in the queue. Take a look at this list of missing people and boats!

What’s your favorite pun on the list?

Now, this should be no laughing matter…but come on. Ilene Dover? Ann Fellen? CLASSIC Jungle Cruise humor.

Well, folks, that about wraps things up. It’s been a week full of fun, and we can’t wait to bring ya along on our adventures next week, too! Stay tuned to DFB.
