ALL of the Disney World Ticket Options Right Now

Walt Disney World is a HUGE resort with many different experiences for guests to enjoy.

Welcome to Disney World!

There are theme parks, water parks, mini-golf courses and even a sports complex! Disney World also offers a number of different types of tickets full of unique options. Figuring out what ticket is right for your vacation can be a bit complicated, so we’re here to help! Today we’re going to break down all of the different types of Disney World tickets you can buy so you can make the best decision for you and your family!

Here are ALL the ticket options available in Walt Disney World right NOW:

Single Park Per Day Tickets

Standard 1 park per day tickets allow you to visit ONE Disney World theme park per day. You can choose different parks for different days of your visit, but you are only able to go to one park each day. Remember, you must also make Park Pass reservations for each park you want to visit for every single day of your vacation (for every member of your party) in addition to buying your tickets.

Would You Visit EPCOT During Your Trip?

1 park per day tickets for adults start at $109 per day and tickets for kids (age 3-9) start at $104 per day. Disney’s ticket prices vary by day, however. Dates that are expected to be more popular or in demand will generally be priced much higher, while dates during Disney’s “slower” seasons will be less expensive.

Ticket prices also gradually reduce (in terms of their cost per day) the more days you buy tickets for.

So the exact cost of the tickets you’re looking to buy will vary depending on when you choose to visit and how long you’ll be visiting for.

Park Hopper Option

Adding on the Park Hopping feature to your ticket will let you visit more than 1 park in a single day. Under the modified Park Hopping rules, you’ll be able to visit one park and then hop to any of the other 4 Disney World theme parks after 2PM (provided they have availability). You must have a park pass reservation for the FIRST park you’re going to visit that day, however, and you must actually visit that FIRST park before you’ll be allowed to hop anywhere else in order to park hop in the afternoon.

LET’S GO!!

Park Hopper tickets start at $174 for a 1-day ticket for adults, and $169 for a 1-day ticket for kids. So, essentially, adding the Park Hopper Option to your ticket will cost you $65 extra per day for a 1-day ticket (for both kids and adults).

Disney Skyliner

The extra cost of the Park Hopper option becomes slightly less per day, however, the longer your trip is. So, the added cost of a Park Hopper for a trip where you will be buying a 10-day park ticket will be less than the added cost of a park hopper for a 1-day park ticket.

Again, park tickets vary in price depending on the dates you choose to visit.

Keep in mind that the Park Hopper option must be added for ALL days you have tickets for. You will not be able to only add on the Park Hopper option for 1 day or any less than the full number of days you have tickets for.

Also, the Park Hopper option is something you can add onto your tickets at a later date. So, for example, if you arrive in Disney World, spend your first day with a 1-park per day ticket, and then realize you’d like to add the Park Hopper option on for the rest of your trip, you can do that. BUT Disney will charge you for the entirety of the days you have tickets for.

Would You Hop to Hollywood Studios?

So, if you have a 5-day park ticket and you add on the Park Hopper option on day 3 of your trip, you’ll still be charged the Park Hopper cost for days 1 and 2. If you are going to add on the Park Hopper option, be sure to do so early so you can take advantage of it during your trip.

Also, keep in mind that while you can add the Park Hopper option on, you may not be able to get that option taken off of your ticket or get a refund for it. So, our advice is to really decide whether or not you need the Park Hopper option before buying it!

Water Parks and Sports Option

Choosing this ticket option will allow you to visit ONE of the 4 Disney World theme parks per day (but you can choose a different park for each day of your trip) AND you’ll get a certain amount of visits to select other experiences depending on the length of your stay. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits to these other experiences and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits.

What are these “other experiences” you’ll be able to visit? Well, they include a number of things like Disney’s water parks…

…golf…

…and mini-golf.

Right now, the only places open to visit in addition to the theme parks are Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – FootGolf, and Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course (prior to 4PM).

The Water Parks and Sports Option ticket starts at $179 for adults for a 1-day ticket, and $174 for kids for a 1-day ticket. So, essentially that is $70 extra per day for both adult and kid tickets for a 1-day ticket (as compared to a regular 1-park per day ticket).

Fantasia Gardens

But, just like with the Park Hopper, that added cost per day will decrease if you are buying tickets for a longer period of time.

And again, the cost of your ticket will depend on the exact days you choose to visit.

Park Hopper Plus Option

The Park Hopper Plus Option is essentially the same as the Water Parks and Sports Option, EXCEPT it also allows you to Park Hop once Park Hopping hours begin (currently Park Hopping starts after 2PM) between the 4 Disney World theme parks! Recall that the regular Water Park and Sports Option only allows guests to visit 1 park per day in addition to those numbered visits to the special other locations (water parks, miniature golf, FootGolf, etc.).

This Park Hopper Plus Option start at $194 for a 1-day adult ticket, and $189 for a 1-day kids ticket. Essentially, this is $85 extra per day for both adult and kid tickets for a 1-day ticket.

Blizzard Beach entrance

But again, this extra cost per day decreases if you buy tickets for a larger number of days.

And again remember that these are just starting costs. The actual costs of your tickets will vary depending on the days you choose to visit.

Memory Maker Add On

You can add on a Memory Maker package to any of the previously mentioned ticket options in order to see and download your Disney PhotoPass photos!

Memory Maker includes: Digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos, select attraction photos and videos, professional photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers, and Magic Shots – featuring Disney characters and more, added to your photos.

PhotoPass

A Memory Maker One Day add on includes all your photos and videos from a day of your choosing. This option costs $69.

A Memory Maker – Advance Purchase includes all of your photos and videos from your entire vacation! This option is $169. You will have to wait at last 3 days after your purchase to activate this though.

PhotoPass

If you don’t purchase the Memory Maker package in advance, you can still get all of the photos and videos from your vacation by buying Memory Maker later for $199.

You can also buy individual photos if you’d like.

Sometimes special deals are offered for Memory Maker packages so be sure to look for those!

1-Day Water Park Tickets

A 1-day water park ticket will only admit you into a Disney World water park for 1 day. Right now, the only water park available to visit is Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, as Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park remains closed.

You can purchase this type of ticket with or without blockout dates. The blockout dates for this year are from May 29th to October 3rd, 2021 meaning you CANNOT visit the water park during that time!

Cross Country Creek

For a water park ticket WITHOUT block out dates, the cost is $69 for adults and $63 for kids.

For a water park ticket WITH blockout dates it’s $64 for adults and $58 for kids.

Water Slides

With all of these different options to choose, you can customize your Disney World vacation exactly to your liking! Whether you’re doing a park per day or two parks and a golf course, hopefully you and your family will have a memorable experience
