Summer is not even here yet, so you know what it’s time to talk about? Halloween…..
Many have been asking if Walt Disney World would be holding its Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, and today we have our answer. Much like in 2020, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary is out for this year….but in its place will be the BOO BASH!
What’s most interesting is that Disney is also bringing back another popular event to the mix with the Boo Bash. They are bringing back the Disney After Hours events!
Disney After Hours BOO BASH will take place on select nights from August 10 – October 31, from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. (Some event nights in August and September will be from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.)
So what will the festivities include? Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings throughout the park, special performances by the Cadaver Dans, décor, lighting, music, treat stops with plenty of candy and so much more!
Disney After Hours Boo Bash tickets will allow Guests to be able to enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 7:00 p.m. without the need for a day park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.
The important question though – can you still dress up in costume? The answer is yes! As an important reminder, costume masks are not permitted for adults; they can only be worn by children younger than 14. In addition, all guests are required to wear approved face coverings during the event.
Disney After Hours events, for those who don’t know, are special event that are open to a limited number of Guests, after normal park hours. The experience offers lower wait times at more than 20 attractions.
Tickets for the Disney After Hours Boo Bash will go on sale next month, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
We’ll be sure to share the latest details about the Boo Bash as we learn them, including when you can purchase tickets, so stay turned to the blog for the details.
