BIG news from Disneyland!
The parks have been open for almost a month now, and we’re getting excited for the opening of Avengers Campus (that’s less than 2 weeks away!). But today, we’ve got a HUGE update on who, exactly, is allowed inside the parks.
When Disneyland Resort first reopened, only California residents could visit the parks. In contrast, other theme parks — such as Universal Studios Hollywood — permitted out-of-state guests to visit, as long as they were fully vaccinated, in accordance to California’s regulations.
Now, though, Disneyland will open to out-of-state guests beginning June 15th! These visitors are not required to be vaccinated, but the State of California does recommend vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Masks will still be required at all times, except when actively eating or drinking while stationary.
Those out-of-state guests can begin booking their trips now, but cannot enter the parks before June 15th. We’ll be sure to keep ya posted as we learn even more about this change, so stay tuned to DFB!
