In what sounds like it will be a joint effort, Orlando area theme parks will be reducing COVID-19 safety protocols. Walt Disney World Resort has announced that they will be removing mandatory temperature checks from park entrances and more, beginning for cast members on May 8th and for guests on May 16th. The Orange County Department of Health stated on April 30th that temperature checks were no longer needed for businesses, and in fact were a waste of resources.
