Hong Kong Disneyland Loses $348 Million Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Hong Kong Disneyland reported its full-year revenue for 2020, which was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. It fell 76% to HK$1.4 billion, for a net loss of HK$2.7 billion, or $348 million in U.S.A. dollars. Park attendance for Hong Kong Disneyland fell 73% to 1.7 million. The park closed and reopened three times in the past year, most recently reopening in February. It has remained open since then. Hong Kong Disneyland is currently celebrating 15 years of operation.
