Ramen Fans: Head to Disney Springs ASAP.

One of our favorite places to dine at Disney Springs is Morimoto Asia! But if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, head to Morimoto Street Food for tasty Ramen, Dim Sum, and other tasty bites!

Morimoto Street Food

We stopped by this afternoon to check out the latest addition to their Ramen menu!

The Saimin Ramen was added to the menu last week, so we knew we had to stop by today to try it for ourselves!

Morimoto Street Food menu

This dish is a Hawaiian-style Ramen with a Dashi Broth, Noodles, Roasted Pork, Bok Choy, Scallion, and Egg.

Saimin Ramen

We found this particular dish to be, in a word, DELICIOUS. We definitely picked up on a bit of sweetness, but it wasn’t at all overwhelming. From the plentiful noodles to the tasty broth and tender, flavorful pork, this was an all-around hit. We noticed some fat in our pork, but that’s to be expected, and we found that it only added to the already great flavor!

Saimin Ramen

For $16, we would happily count this as one of our meals for the day! It will easily fill you up, or you can share it with a friend. This is definitely one of the more solid values in Disney World (those can be hard to come by!). Not to mention this goes way beyond your typical cheeseburger or chicken nugget meals.

Saimin Ramen

If this sounds like a dish that’s right up your alley or you’re a fan of Japanese dishes in general, head over to Morimoto Street Food on your next visit to Disney Spring! Be sure to follow along for the latest food news from all over Disney World!

Review: How Much Bacon Did Disney World Really Add to This Fan-Favorite Snack?

Have you been keeping up with our Roulé aux Fromage saga? Well, let’s catch you up!

We’re back for MORE cheesy and bacon-y bread!

A few days ago we found that one of our favorite bacon and cheese roll (aka the Roulé aux Fromage) had returned to Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion at EPCOT. And, while we were excited to reunite with the cheesy, bacon-y goodness, there was one thing lacking — the bacon. But, the Cast Members in the France Pavilion were watching and they RESPONDED with MORE bacon! So, we had to go over and check it out!

Well, we’re happy to report that there IS more bacon on this bread! Now you can see the extra bacon bits on top…

Look at that bacon!

…AND from the side. The bacon is still all on the top (unlike the former version of the snack, the Roule Lard et Fromage), but, rest assured, we still think it’s tasty! We mean, c’mon, it’s bacon, cheese, and bread — what’s not to love?

You can even see those bacon-y bits from the side!

And, if you’re wondering just how much bacon was added in response to our plea for more, here’s what it looked like when we tried it just a few days ago!

We were missing some bacon before

Now, THAT’S a before and after we like to see! You can try one yourself for $7.99 and see what you think of the new carb-loaded snack! We’ll continue to bring you all the Disney snack updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more!

PHOTOS: This Is the Most Insta-Worthy Drink We’ve Seen in Disney World in a Long Time

Summer, summer, summer…time! It’s almost summer, and that means we’re swapping out our hoodies for tank tops, heading to the pools and water parks, and indulging in some summer fun at Disney World!

The Coca Cola Store is so cool

But we’re also trying some sweet summer treats, as well as some seasonal beverages, including pina coladas, strawberry funnel cake coffee, and a frozen flight of boozy drinks! Bring on the summertime vibes!

We discovered even MORE summery drinks at the Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar at Disney Springs, so OF COURSE, we had to try them! We got the Top Chico Ranch Water and the Simply Rainbow. And we totally got the Summer Strawberry Lemonade again, too, because we liked it so much!

Summer drinks are here!

The Top Chico Ranch Water is made with Topo Chico mineral water, along with tequila and lime juice. They pour a little of the water out of the bottle into a cup for you so they can make room for the tequila and lime juice. It’s a simple drink, but it packs a punch (the alcohol does kinda’ sit on top, though, so you might want to swirl it around a bit). It’s nice and refreshing, perfect for hot Florida days. This one is $12.

Simple, but good!

We also tried what might be the prettiest drink we have seen in Disney World in quite some time — the Simply Rainbow for $16. It’s made with Simply Orange, Tito’s Vodka, blue curacao, and grenadine.

This drink is SWEET…like REALLY sweet. And we learned quickly that we needed to mix it with our straw before drinking it because otherwise, we only tasted the grenadine.

A rainbow drink!!!

Overall, it was like drinking candy (we couldn’t even taste the vodka). But the drink itself is GORGEOUS.

Simply Rainbow

Overall, we still prefer the Summer Strawberry Lemonade over both drinks — so that one is a sure bet with us! We’ll keep trying all the summery drinks at Disney World and let you know what we think about them!

PHOTOS, VIDEO: Goofy and Max Go Fishing at Pacific Wharf for Distanced Meet and Greet at Disney California Adventure

untitled-design-110

The sun is shining, the fish and rubber chickens are jumping, and the breeze is cool over at Disney California Adventure today. Over on the balcony at Pacific Wharf, we found Goofy and his son Max having some good (and bad) luck fishing. Goofy, with one fish already caught, dropped his line for another try. Fishing is a little too exciting for our friend Goofy. It may have been the one that got away, but don’t worry Goofy. There are […]
