The Secret Tips For Getting Disney World to Answer the Phone

When planning a trip to Disney World, during your trip, or even after your trip, you might need to call Disney to ask them a question, make a special request, or get specific information.

Time to Head to Disney World!

But what number do you call?! There are a lot of different numbers on Disney World’s websites. Today we’re breaking it all down for you and giving you the ultimate guide to Disney World contact numbers.

Keep in mind, this list is based on the information we could obtain from Disney. Some of these lines may be direct lines that lead you directly to the department they’re intended to lead you to. Other numbers may indicate that they are direct numbers, but instead lead you back to a general line.

And some may in fact be direct numbers, but due to high call volume or other factors, you may STILL get redirected to a general line. But, hopefully, this list can help you navigate the phone system and speak to the Cast Members you need to speak to about your specific issues!

We love a good pretzel. It’s the perfect park snack. One of our favorite soft pretzels has returned to Walt Disney World. The cheddar – jalapeño pretzel is available at Pretzel Palooza in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Pretzel Palooza cart is located across from Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Many years ago, it was called Pretzel Garden and was located on the Streets of America. The cart was very popular on the first day that guests were able to […]

Think You Know What Rides Had the LONGEST Wait Times This Week in Disney World?

Thinking of visiting Disney World soon? Curious what rides (on average) have had the longest wait times recently? Well, we’ve got you covered!

Are You a Fan of Test Track?

Each week we take a look at the average wait times for all the rides in Disney World and bring you the updates you need to know. Last week we had you try and guess which ride at each park had the longest wait time. This week we’ve got a different challenge! This week only 2 rides in ALL of Disney World had wait times over 60 minutes. Can you guess which rides they are? Take a second to make your predictions now!

Got your guesses ready? Alright, then let’s take a look at the average wait times in the parks from this past week and see if your guesses are right!

Magic Kingdom

First, we make our way to Magic Kingdom. Splash Mountain can have a pretty high average wait time, especially as it’s warming up more and more. But this week, its average wait time actually fell UNDER 60 minutes (barely) with an average wait of 58 minutes.

In terms of other rides with waits in the 40s and 30s, there was Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at an average wait time of 43 minutesJungle Cruise at 37 minutesSpace Mountain at 32 minutes, and Pirates of the Caribbean at 31 minutes.

Ready to Make a SPLASH?!

From there, the wait times only go down. In the 20s we had Peter Pan’s Flight with an average wait of 27 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 24 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 24 minutesTomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 23 minutesMickey’s PhilharMagic at 22 minutesMany Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 22 minutes, and “it’s a small world” at 21 minutes.

Peter Pan’s Flight

In the teens we had Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 19 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 17 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 16 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 13 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 13 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 13 minutes, and Tomorrowland Speedway at 13 minutes.

Ready to Help Buzz?

Looking for rides with even shorter waits? Then you’ll want to stop by Tom Sawyer Island which had an average wait of 12 minutes, Carousel of Progress with an average wait of 10 minutes, Mad Tea Party with a 10 minute average wait, and Country Bear Jamboree and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini which both had a 9 minute average wait.

Anyone Up for a Ride on the Barnstormer?

At the very bottom of our list in terms of wait times in Magic Kingdom were the Liberty Square Riverboat with a 1 minute average wait time, and Enchanted Tiki Room as well as Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse which both had an average wait time of 0 minutes.

So, no rides at Magic Kingdom were over 60 minutes in terms of average wait times this past week. Let’s turn to EPCOT next.

EPCOT

Did you guess that maybe Test Track or Frozen Ever After had an average wait time over 60 minutes this week? Well, if that was your guess you’d be…WRONG! Actually none of the rides at EPCOT had a wait time over 60 minutes this week.

Test Track and Soarin’ both had an average wait time of about 47 minutes. Other rides with longer wait times included Frozen Ever After at 38 minutes on average and Mission: SPACE at 37 minutes.

You Are Clear for Takeoff

If you’re hoping to hop on a ride with a wait time under 20 minutes, this week we saw Spaceship Earth had an average wait time of 17 minutesJourney into Imagination was at 15 minutesThe Seas with Nemo and Friends was at 12 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour as well as Living with the Land were both at 9 minutes.

Love this Ride

If you don’t want to wait at all, then you can head over to Impressions de France, Reflections of China, American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, or Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival. All of these had an average wait time of 0 minutes this week.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Okay, surely you’re thinking SOMETHING at Hollywood Studios must have had an average wait time over 60 minutes this week. And you’d be…RIGHT!

Once again, Slinky Dog Dash reigns supreme in the wait times over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with an average wait time this week of 62 minutes! That’s actually slightly longer than the average we saw for this ride last week (59 minutes).

Get Ready to Ride!

Other rides with higher wait times included Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at 54 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 39 minutesMickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 35 minutes, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 35 minutes.

Tower of Terror

In the 20s we’ve got Toy Story Mania at 29 minutesStar Tours – The Adventures Continue at 26 minutesMuppet*Vision 3D at 26 minutesAlien Swirling Saucers at 23 minutes, and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 23 minutes.

Walt Disney Presents was at the bottom of the list (again) with a 14 minute wait. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance doesn’t get factored into the wait times since it uses a Boarding Group system. You’ll definitely want to make sure you’ve read up on all the Boarding Group updates so you can give yourself the best chance possible to score one during your group!

So, only one ride at Hollywood Studios had over a 60 minute wait. That leaves us with just one park left to find our other one!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

One ride at Animal Kingdom had an average wait time over 60 minutes this week. In fact, the average wait time for this ride was over 70 minutes! Can you guess what ride it is?

If you said Avatar Flight of Passage, you’d be correct! The average wait time for Flight of Passage this week was 72 minutes. Looks like flying with the banshees is a popular pastime!

Flight of Passage queue

Other rides with longer wait times included Kilimanjaro Safaris at 37 minutesDinosaur at 35 minutesNa’vi River Journey at 32 minutes, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 22 minutes.

Kali River Rapids had an average wait time of 21 minutes, while Expedition Everest had an average wait of 17 minutes.

Are you yeti for this?

TriceraTop Spin is near the bottom of the list with a 6 minute average wait time, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is at the absolute bottom with an average wait of 0 minutes.

So, this week our 2 rides with wait times over 60 minutes were just Slinky Dog Dash and Flight of Passage. Wait times were down slightly at some rides like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. But they were up slightly in other places like at Test Track, Soarin’, Flight of Passage, and some others.

We’ll continue to keep an eye on those wait times, particularly as we get into the summer months, and let you know what we find.

PHOTOS: Festival of the Lion King in Disney World Reduces Distancing, Now Seating More Guests

It’s been a busy week for Disney World — and a lot has happened in the parks as a result of it.

RAWR

First, Disney World announced it would phase out temperature checks (which it has done early). Then we learned that theme park guests would no longer have to wear masks while outdoors (save for in specific locations). Disney also announced it would gradually reduce social distancing guidelines in the parks, too. We found a big example of that happening today!

We’ve already seen plexiglass removed from one ride at Disney World, but today, we also noticed that social distancing for a show has been reduced, too. Like we said — a LOT going on.

Today, we went to see the Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and noticed that things seemed a little different from when we last saw the show. All sections of the theater are being filled. The section closest to the sound and lighting booth was left open til last, then was filled.

One section has been left open.

However, it seems that groups are still being seated on benches at least six feet apart — the markers indicating the distance have remained.

Benches

BUT…guests are now being seated on every row, unlike before when every other row was closed. But groups are staggered on those rows.

That’s still six feet between groups on rows

If you were to glance around the room and didn’t know that guests were being staggered, it would look like the theater is full.

It looks full.

This change will allow for a lot more guests at a time to view the newly-returned show. We’ll be checking to see if other shows have done the same at Disney World, so stay tuned for more info.!
