What’s New in Magic Kingdom: A BIG Transportation Change and a Bride Squad Pins!

We love a day spent in Magic Kingdom!

We visited Disney World’s flagship park yesterday and we definitely spotted some updates. So, now we’re here with all the latest news in construction and merchandise from the Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Transportation and Ticket Center

At the Transportation and Ticket Center, we spotted that the buses to Magic Kingdom were not running. Cast Members let us know that this offering will return as needed based on crowds and demand.

In the meantime, you can ride the monorail or take the ferry.

Various Locations

First up, we noticed that more of the Sorcerers of Magic Kingdom plaques have been removed throughout the park. In these spots, the ground has been paved or bricked over.

The construction on the Train Station continues. Now, walls are up around where the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom spot was.

We rode the Jungle Cruise to check in on the current refurbishment as it gets a new storyline. This time around, the spot where Trader Sam was has been cleared a little more.

In the Parks: Magic Kingdom Morning

We’re in the parks every day to make sure our tools and information are up to date. Today, we spent some time testing wait times for attractions in Magic Kingdom. In case you missed the fun on our Twitter feed, here’s some images from our Magic Kingdom morning.

Arriving by Ferryboat: 9 minutes, 10 seconds waiting for the boat to load and then 7 minutes, 43 seconds from rope up to rope down to get us to Magic Kingdom

Already a warm day at Magic Kingdom. Temperatures in Florida this week have been near record highs.

First up, a ride on Seven Dwarfs Mine train!

Next stop, Pirates! 

When the band is marching by, you have to stop and listen, right?

Then off to Splash Mountain. . . 

And finishing up our morning at Big Thunder. (Reminding us that it is the GOAT. . . . er. . . goat.)

Crowds are picking up around noon. If you’re in Magic Kingdom today, hope you’re having a marvelous time!
