The NEW Disney Wish cruise ship won’t be setting sail until 2022, but we’ve already gotten TONS of details about what to expect on board!

One of the new things that has been announced for the cruise is Disney’s first attraction at sea — the AquaMouse! We’ve already seen lots of concept art for the ride and its story, but now we’ve got a closer look!
Disney has already shared how the AquaMouse will take guests on an adventure all around the ship with special effects and thrills!

During this attraction, you’ll join “Mickey and Minnie on an exhilarating water adventure into a colorful cartoon world inspired by the famous Mickey Mouse animated shorts.”
You’ll board a 2-seater ride vehicle and “ascend into a magical tunnel that will teleport [you] into the cartoon world of ‘Scuba Scramble.’” This new animated short will actually play out through oversized virtual portholes.

Today, Disney shared a closer look at some of the parts of this upcoming attraction. In part of the video Disney shared you can see a glimpse of the 2-seater vehicle guests will board for this attraction.

We even got a peek at a tunnel that is part of the experience, and it looks intense (in a great way)!

According to Disney, “At the height of the show, guests will blast out of the tunnel and embark on a wild water ride around the upper decks. First, they’ll zip into the forward funnel through an enclosed tube surrounded by dazzling lighting effects, followed by a quick dash through a dark tunnel that opens up to reveal breathtaking views of the ocean.” Sounds very exciting!!

The Disneyland Resort has officially reopened, and already we’re learning some exciting news about additional dining locations becoming available once again!

Legacy Passholders can look forward to another available dining option at Disney California Adventure just for them!
Disneyland has announced that Alfresco Tasting Terrace will reopen on May 20th, 2021! This lounge will be available exclusively for Legacy Passholders.

Prior to the closures, Disneyland made Alfresco Tasting Terrace an Annual Passholder-exclusive lounge. It looks like for now, that policy will continue for the resort’s Legacy Passholders.

The past few weeks have been busy ones for Disneyland. Not only did the resort officially reopen, but Disney also let us know when Avengers Campus will open AND told us all about a planned expansion of the parks!

We also saw the reopening of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Resort & Spa, and as of today, we also know when Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will reopen! That reopening date will happen on June 15th with limited capacity. However, something BIG will be missing from the hotel after it reopens.
FOOD! As part of the hotel’s phased reopening, the hotel will NOT have any food or drinks available to guests upon initial reopening.

Instead, Disney suggests that guests staying at Paradise Pier dine at the nearby Grand Californian Hotel, as well as at Downtown Disney. Delivery services are also available for select Downtown Disney restaurants. Guests staying at both Paradise Pier and the Grand Californian can scan QR codes from their in-room TVs to access links to those restaurants’ websites for delivery and order food and drinks to be delivered to their hotel lobbies.

The Disneyland Resort reopened last week, along with Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! Right now, dining at the Grand Californian is limited to Hearthstone Lounge, GCH Craftsman Bar, and GCH Craftsman Grill.

We’re excited to announce that the resort’s dining options will soon expand and more restaurants are preparing to reopen!
Disneyland has announced that Napa Rose and Storytellers Cafe will reopen on May 28th, 2021!

Upon reopening, both restaurants will be available to guests staying at the Grand Californian and non-hotel guests as well! Napa Rose will feature their prix fixe Vintner Menu as well as a la carte selections. At Storytellers, guests can expect a three-course meal for both breakfast and dinner. At this time, character dining will not be featured at Storytellers Cafe.

Dining reservations for both restaurants will be available for booking at a later date. Stay tuned for more information, including when you can make a reservation, in the coming days and weeks!

Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is one of the things that is still closed at Disneyland Resort, but soon that will be changing!!
Today, Disney announced that Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will reopen on June 15th, 2021, with limited capacity!
Guests can book room reservations for Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel starting today — May 6th! We went to visit the Paradise Pier website and we were placed in an ever-familiar waiting room.

Keep in mind that there will be some changes at Paradise Pier as part of its reopening. One of the biggest changes is that Paradise Pier will NOT have any food and beverage options when it initially opens.
Guests at the hotel will be able to visit nearby dining options at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa though, as well as restaurants throughout the Downtown Disney District. Select restaurants in Downtown Disney will also offer delivery services right to the hotel lobby.
