Universal Orlando Resort has updated its COVID-19 safety guidelines regarding physical distancing and limited capacity. The guidelines now say “We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance between your travel party and others.” Previously, guests were required to maintain a six-foot distance, then a three-foot distance from other parties. Things don’t always run smoothly in Disney World.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Rides get evacuated, animatronics malfunction, and even the weather can act up. And recently, we’ve been keeping an eye on an incident taking place at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Guests have been reporting that for the last 3 days, fire alarms have been going off sporadically in the main Copper Creek Villas building at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The alarm has gone off 3 times so far: around 2PM the first day, 9AM the second, and 2AM the third.

On the third day, the emergency alarm went off and guests were told to evacuate the building. Reader @alexileigh412 sent a photo of guests sitting outside at around 2:45 in the morning.
