Review: Here’s Why Disney World’s New Coffee and Donut Combo May NOT Be for You

New coffee alert!

We are READY to indulge.

We know and love Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew in Disney Springs for its wacky twists on — ya guessed it — donuts and coffee. Recently, we tried the new Butterscotch Caramel Craze Donut, and in Everglazed fashion, we’ve now got a coffee to go with it! So you KNOW we had to swing by and give this new sip a try.

The Cloud 9 coffee has cold brew, milk, salted caramel syrup, and whipped cream. And to refresh your memory, that Butterscotch Caramel Craze Donut is topped with caramel icing, butterscotch chips, and caramel corn (and it’s delicious).

Cloud 9

So how did these 2 sweet treats pair together? Well, we know that Butterscotch donut was SWEET — and it had a pretty strong butterscotch taste to it, too! You’ll wanna be a fan of those flavors to enjoy the donut, but the coffee was much more subtle.

Cloud 9 with Butterscotch Caramel Craze Donut

There was a great balance of caramel, coffee, and cream. There’s no doubt about it — this is a sweet coffee — but it wasn’t overpowering at all. In fact, it tasted really good.

This is a solid coffee!

If you want to tone down on that sweetness even more, though, eat the donut separately.

Want less sweetness? Don’t dip!

You can snag this combo for $11. We’d recommend it for butterscotch and caramel fans! If you’re not into that, try Everglazed’s new S’mores donut or Nutella Boston Cream Donuts — they’re both tasty, too. And stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food reviews!

ANOTHER Iconic Disneyland Ride Is Closing for Refurbishment!

If you want to talk about absolutely iconic Disney rides, you’re probably going to talk about Disneyland.

Disneyland

Disneyland Park has some totally historic rides, many of which Walt Disney had a hand in. From Haunted Mansion to the Jungle Cruise, it’s hard not to love classic attractions. It’s not uncommon to see classic rides get a refurbishment, like the newly renamed Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, and now another Disneyland ride is getting some TLC!

Today, we noticed that Disneyland Park’s The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction has been added to the refurbishment calendar beginning July 5th.

Winnie the Pooh

This Hundred Acre Wood attraction will join the still-closed Jungle Cruise in the list of under-refurbishment attractions at Disneyland this summer.

Want to learn more about the Jungle Cruise refurbishment? Click here!

At this time, Disney has not announced the scope of the refurbishment or how long it will last. It’s possible that it could be a very short refurbishment for some upkeep; it could also be longer for some bigger refreshes or changes.

Winnie the Pooh

Whatever the case, we’ll be sure to keep you updated about all the changes coming to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates!

FIRST LOOK at the Map for Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort!

We’re just a few days away from the grand opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure!

Avengers Campus

Marvel fans all over are getting pumped to hang out with all their favorite characters, try delicious eats from the movies, and walk in the footsteps of the Avengers themselves. Throughout the past few weeks and months, Disney has slowly been releasing more information on this new land, and today, we FINALLY got a look at the guide map!

There are three entrances to the new 6-acre land in Disney California Adventure, and there are tons of new things to explore! You can hop on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, grab a bite at PYM Test Kitchen, or just stroll the streets keeping your eyes peeled for your favorite heroes.

From the photos shared, it looks like a new map cover photo will also be premiering for opening day at DCA. We can’t wait to report on all the excitement straight from the park!

Virtual Queue CONFIRMED for Web Slingers at Disney’s Avengers Campus

Avengers Campus is opening in Disney California Adventure SOON.

©Disney Avengers Campus

And boy are we getting EXCITED! We’ve already shared tons of info on the food, merch, rides, and more that will debut with the land…but now Disney’s released even more details. And today, we’re sharing an update on how you’ll queue up to hop on a brand-new attraction!

WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure is opening with Avengers Campus on June 4th. To experience this ride, you’ll need to join a virtual queue — standby lines will not be available. The virtual queue will function just like the one for Rise of the Resistance: you’ll be able to join at 7AM and 12PM daily using the Disneyland app, and you’ll be able to enter the queue once per day.

If you have a Park Pass reservation for Disney California Adventure, you’ll be able to join your boarding group at 7AM (from outside of the park) or 12PM. Guests who have a Park Pass reservation for Disneyland Park (with a Park Hopper ticket) may join the virtual queue at 12PM, as long as they’ve already entered Disneyland Park that day. Remember, you can Park Hop starting at 1PM each day.

©Disney

When it’s your turn to ride, you’ll get a notification from the Disneyland app letting you know that your group’s return time was called. You’ll have up to an hour from that time to go to the entrance of WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure to ride.

©Disney

One important detail you’ll want to know is that you CAN’T have a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance and WEB SLINGERS at the same time. So plan wisely! We’ll be sure to test this whole system out for ya once it’s up and running. In the meantime, check out some of our tips for snagging a boarding group — and stay tuned to DFB for more Avengers Campus opening news!

PHOTOS: Journey Into Imagination with Figment Now Loading Every Row at EPCOT

image-from-ios-7-7617212

At Epcot, you might notice some differences in the way Disney is approaching physical distancing on Journey Into Imagination with Figment. In March, the ride stopped leaving an empty row between guests in different cars. However, people from different parties still remained separated. That is changing as Disney continues to relax pandemic related requirements.  Now they are loading every row in each car with different parties. This means you may sit in front of or behind people you didn’t come […]

PHOTOS: Check Out the Progress on Disney World’s Newest Hotel

Disney World’s newest resort hotel,The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, is set to open this July! While reservations are currently available for bookings beginning this September, we’ve been keeping an eye on any and all updates from the third Swan and Dolphin hotel to open on property.

We stopped by the future site of the Swan Reserve today to check out the latest construction progress! Let’s take a look at how things are coming along.

While we wait for the hotel to officially open later this year, we can get a great view of the construction taking place in the meantime.

The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

We noticed crews actively working on the hotel during our visit!

Work continues on the Swan Reserve!

Once completed, the Swan Reserve will offer more than 300 guest rooms and stunning views of Disney World! Those floor-to-ceiling windows sure look lovely!

Click here to check out the view from the top of the Swan Reserve!

We were able to check out a couple of different angles around the hotel’s property. There weren’t any major differences in what we could spot from the outside since our last construction update.

The Swan Reserve

It looks like some of the finishing touches are coming along nicely, but we’re still at least several weeks away from any guests being able to actually check in at the Swan Reserve.

The Swan Reserve

Be sure to follow along as we continue to cover all of the progress happening at the Swan Reserve, along with all of the other latest construction news from Disney World!
