Hocus Pocus 2 is on its way, and we STILL can’t believe it.

Disney first announced that this sequel was coming (after almost 30 YEARS!) at the end of last year, and we’ve been eagerly waiting for more news. And now, we finally know more — including a release timeline!

First of all, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will all reprise their roles as our favorite spooky sisters. The plot? According to Disney, “three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world.” Sounds like a lot of fun!

Production for the film will start this fall, and the movie will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in fall 2022. Just in time for Halloween! Director Anne Fletcher said of Hocus Pocus 2, “Now more than ever, people need to laugh. We should be laughing every day, and there is so much fun to be had with these three unbelievable women playing delicious characters from such a beloved film.” She adds, “This is a movie for everyone, from the fans who grew up with the first film to the next generation of viewers, and I can’t wait to get started.”

We’ve got some GREAT Disney food news!

But first, we’ve gotta backtrack a couple of years. Remember the Filet Sliders up for grabs at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Disney Springs? These lean, tender, flavorful eats were one of the best things on the Splitsville menu…but they disappeared last year. And if you’re craving ’em as much as we are, we’ve got some exciting news to share.

The Filter Sliders are BACK at Splitsville! These babies are made of beef tenderloin topped with onion rings and horseradish cream…and yup, our mouths are already watering.

We’re excited to have this classic dish back! You can bet we’ll be stopping by to give them a taste and see if they’re just as good as we remember. Give ’em a try, and stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news!
