REVIEW! A Disney World Star Wars Snack Combines Some of Our Favorite Desserts!

It’s almost time for Star Wars fans’ favorite day of the year…May the 4th!

It’s the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!

In preparation for the occasion, tons of guests have plans to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to celebrate and Disney World is offering several out-of-this-world treats to try! Today, we stopped by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to test out one of those desserts.

At Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian, you’ll find the Millennium Falcon Star Wars Soft-Serve Sundae available for a limited time — from May 2nd to May 5th.

Millennium Falcon Star Wars Soft-Serve Sundae

According to the sign, this treat is made with galactic gray vanilla soft-serve with chocolate cream cookie crumbles, chocolate drizzle, white chocolate pearl stars, brownie asteroid pieces with stardust sparkles, and a Millennium Falcon chocolate accent piece. That’s quite the sundae!

We noticed that the ice cream in our sundae appeared to be much closer to a standard white vanilla color, rather than the gray-vanilla listed on the menu. But since the flavor was supposed to be vanilla anyway, that didn’t throw us off!

This has two of our favorite sundae flavors mixed into one — cookies & cream and brownie! The cookie crumbles are served at the bottom but we mixed them into the sundae to get the full flavor. The brownie chunks are large and made a delicious addition to the treat. And the specks of edible glitter add a fun galactic touch!

We really enjoyed this treat! While we wouldn’t call it the most inventive or groundbreaking dessert, it’s a great choice for fans of sundaes and Star Wars, and we think the kiddos will really love the fun touches of edible glitter and Star Wars theming.

If you want to try it for yourself, head on over to Pineapple Lanai for the next few days and pick one up for $5.99. And if this isn’t your thing, then you can always order a Dole Whip while you’re there!
