Let’s talk about FOOD.
To be fair, ANY time can be snack time at Disney World, but that’s just because there are so many delicious treats to try. Here at DFB, we’ve tasted TONS of them over the years to bring you our honest reviews, and today, we’re continuing that tradition. Let’s head on over to Disney Springs to try out a new treat made specifically for an upcoming movie!
Today at Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs, we spotted this new sign out front! If there’s a new Cruella-themed treat, then you just know that we have to try it.
We can’t resist a new treat!
We went inside to order and spotted the cookies all lined up — ready to be made into yummy gelato sandwiches. They’re pretty big cookies, but this treat isn’t cheap either. You can order the Cruella D’Wich for $11 each!
Those are BIG cookies.
This sandwich is made with chocolate chip gelato between a s’mores cookie and a sugar cookie with red sprinkles. We can definitely see where they got that Cruella de Vil theming with the red, white, and black.
This thing is FILLED with gelato goodness.
If you want to pick one of these treats up for yourself, make sure to eat it FAST. In the time we took pictures it was melting rapidly!
We’ve already got a dripping problem!
However, it was still just as delicious! The cookies were nice and soft which made it easier to eat. The s’mores cookie was our favorite part, and we think that those of you who love chocolate baked goods will really appreciate it.
That s’mores cookie is really spectacular!
The gelato itself is made with chipped pieces of chocolate, not traditional chocolate chips. And be careful when holding it — not only is that gelato melting fast, but those red sprinkles may stain your hands!
Watch out for those red sprinkles!
All in all, this treat is definitely big enough to share, especially considering the price tag. And note that Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club discounts are available.
