The 6 Best Chocolate Chip Cookies in Disney World

Okay, so we sort of kinda’ missed National Chocolate Chip Day a bit, but we’re of the opinion that EVERY day should be a celebration of chocolate chips.

So while we were busy eating other snacks, like unique Kit Kats, fruity potato chips, and Disney Cruise Line desserts, we were still thinking about that most classic of chocolate chip snacks, the Chocolate Chip Cookie. And of course, we’ve got our favorites at Disney World.

So what makes for a great chocolate chip cookie? First, that cookie needs to be chewy and moist. We don’t want those hard and crumbly cookies that you can buy at the supermarket. Next? We need a good chocolate chip to cookie ratio. Finally, it just has to taste great. And so the cookies we’re listing here have passed our Chocolate Chip Cookie test.

Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie

First up is the Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookie. We first discovered this cookie over at Disney California Adventure, but it made its way to Disney World and landed at The Market at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And we are SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT. This is a super BIG, THICK, and tasty cookie that hits all the right notes for chocolate chip cookie fans.

Look at that cookie!

Now, THAT’S what we’re talking about. And when we can’t make it to Disney World? We make these yummy treats at home.

Gideon’s Original Chocolate Chip Cookie

We were big fans of Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies way back when they were available at The Polite Pig and before the new Gideon’s Bakehouse opened at Disney Springs. And our love for Gideon’s Original Chocolate Chip Cookie has never wavered. This cookie is packed with LOADS of chocolate chips, and the cookie dough has a vanilla punch because it’s made with real vanilla bean.

OG Chocolate Chip

This cookie is also topped with sea salt adding a nice salty crunch that really takes it to next level cookie goodness.

Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie

We love our Mickey-shaped food, but food shaped like Minnie is also fun! The Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie that we originally discovered at Columbia Harbour House is not just any ordinary chocolate chip cookie with a cool shape. Inside is warm, fudgy, melty chocolate. OH YES.

Look at that melty goodness

The bow is colored white chocolate, so the whole thing is edible. This cookie IS shareable, but we might not want to share because it’s so good (get your own!). Right now, you can get this Minnie cookie at Tomorrowland Terrace.

Mickey Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich With Peanut Butter Sauce

On its own, the Mickey Ear Cookie, which has Mickey’s ears dipped in chocolate (NOM NOM) is a great cookie. But we decided to take it up a notch by getting two of these cookies, sandwiching chocolate chip ice cream between them, and then drizzling on peanut butter sauce. And it is ICE CREAM COOKIE PERFECTION.

This does take a little running around Disney World, but trust us — it’s worth it. You can grab the cookies from Main Street Confectionery, and the chocolate chip ice cream, and a side of peanut butter sauce from Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, (which is currently closed).

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we head to Dino-Bites Snacks to have one of their awesome cookie ice cream sandwiches. And the Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich is one of our favorites. It’s just Vanilla Ice Cream served between two Freshly Baked Chocolate-Chip Cookies, but it’s DELISH. We’ve also hacked it with a Valentine’s Day sandwich because those freshly baked cookies just kill it!

Sure, Valentine’s Day is over, but you can still get the basic Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwich and it is WORTH IT.

Salted Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie

We often sing the praises of Karamell Kuche over at the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT, and for reason — those caramelly snacks are SO good. And when it comes to cookies, the Salted Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie there blows us away. It’s a Chocolate Chip Cookie with Salted Pretzel bits and drizzled with Werther’s Caramel. And yes, it’s amazing.

We like this one for its uniqueness, but in the end, all those flavors together just work! Plus it has that combination of softness and crunch, as well as sweet and salty.
