We are now only 100 days away from October 1st, the beginning of Disney World’s 50th anniversary and “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” We have a little insight about EPCOT’s upcoming show Harmonious from the president of Disney World himself, so check it out!
Jeff Vahle, president of Walt Disney World resort, posted on Instagram about his experience during a rehearsal of EPCOT’s upcoming new nighttime spectacular show, Harmonious.
According to Jeff, he was able to join the team creating and operating the new show during a rehearsal this week. We have seen fireworks testing happening in EPCOT happening from afar!
We’ve reported previously that Harmonious will feature five floating set pieces that support a six-story tall structure as well as house production special effects, which will include LED panels, moving fountains, lights, lasers, and pyrotechnics.

In addition to Harmonious at EPCOT, October 1st will also bring the addition of the Enchantment fireworks show at Magic Kingdom, and a new daytime show called Disney KiteTails at Animal Kingdom. Stay tuned to DFB for all the news about Disney World’s 50th anniversary!
