FIRST LOOK at the Reopened Sebastian’s Bistro in Disney World!

More and more restaurants are starting to reopen in Disney World!

Sebastian’s Bistro

Recently, we learned that ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will reopen next month and now there’s a reopened dining option over in Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. And, of course, we had to stop by to give it a try!

As of June 24th, Sebastian’s Bistro has reopened for nightly walk-in guests at the resort. The walk-in service will be available through July 4th, when reservations officially begin on July 5th. So, what exactly does it look like to walk up to a Disney World restaurant?

Atmosphere

When we first arrived at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, we noticed that there weren’t many people hanging around the restaurant.

We were able to just walk in and sit down! Not busy at all!

Food

And then it was time to eat! Sebastian’s Bistro now features a brand new family-style dinner, meaning all of the food will be brought to your table in large portions for the table to share. When we got to the table, we scanned the QR code for the menu!

Although the menu was limited, there were still plenty of options, including plant-based platters.

Once it’s time to dig in, the food will be brought directly to your table, so there’s no need to get up to go anywhere — just sit down and enjoy! Our meal started with buttery house-baked pull-apart rolls.

We then got The Spice Necklace Salad, the Taste of the Caribbean platter, and we had to try the Taste of the Caribbean Enhancement and chose the coconut shrimp option! It was more than it worth it — there was plenty of shrimp and it was delicious!

With the Taste of the Caribbean platter, the table shares oven-roasted citrus chicken, slow-cooked mojo pork with mango sambal, and grilled flank steak with mojito relish, with a side of cilantro rice and beans, vegetable curry, and grilled broccolini.

No meal would be complete without dessert (at least in our books), and they’ve got that too! It’s the coconut-pineapple bread pudding!

Well, that was one big meal! If you’re hoping to visit the restaurant once reservations are available, you can already start booking now. Or, just walk up like us through July 4th. And, of course, we’ll be bringing you a full review of our meal here soon, so stay tuned to DFB!
