Today is June 1st and that means that it’s the beginning of Pride Month!

There are lots of special items for sale from shopDisney’s new Rainbow Collection all around Walt Disney World’s shops; you can take a peek at some of them in Zoë’s weekly merchandise showcase that we publish every Monday here on the DIS.

Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs (and the East End Market location) is getting in on the Pride celebration as well with two special treats that will be available on a first-come, first-served basis each day throughout the entire month of June.

Pictured above is their White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut cookie. Now, we’re told that this is not your basic white chocolate and macadamia nut cookie – it’s got Gideon’s homemade Salted Caramel added in! On their Instagram account, they posted that “the caramel bakes right in and sometimes even explodes right out to offer you a cookie that is fun and packed with flavors. Oh, did I mention we’re brushing them with edible rainbow glitter?!?” Can you say, YUM?!

You know they’ve got to have a magnificently gigantic three-layer cake slice too, right? Pictured below is Gideon’s brand new Rainbow Crunch Cake.

This fluffy 3-Layer Vanilla Confetti Cake is covered with our extraordinary multi-colored Marshmallow Buttercream and laced with our mega crunchy Rainbow Crumbs! Each Gideon’s cake is lovingly scratch-made by hand and is available by the slice every day of June at Gideon’s in Disney Springs and every weekend for Gideon’s at the East End Market.

If the “crunchy Rainbow Crumbs” atop this cake slice are anything like the crumbs on my beloved Coffee Cake Cookie, we’re ALL in for a real treat, folks.

There is also some special Pride Month merch coming to Gideon’s Bakehouse so keep an eye out for that as their merchandise tends to sell out quickly.
