Once you walk into the lobby at Art of Animation, you will be greeted with a sign directing you where to go for Landscape of Flavors, the main counter-service option at Art of Animation.
Shopping to the Left and Grubbing to the Right!
Once you have entered Landscape of Flavors you will see the Grab-and-Go section stocked with delicious treats and beverages. You will see items like cereal, milk, juice, soft drinks, pastries, and desserts. And yes, that amazing mermaid cupcake is still around for the summer!
Among the many things returning this one brings much more added convenience to the guests staying at the resorts and we are excited for this option to return everywhere soon! Keep your eyes here for more updates on reopenings around the parks!

There’s a brand new Father’s Day Cupcake at Capt. Cook’s, and this one has BACON on it! It’s a vanilla cupcake with caramel and bacon filling and cream cheese icing, topped with candied bacon, and chocolate pieces on top.

All Disney Stores in the UK are reportedly closing except for the flagship location in London. We learned earlier this year that at least 20% of physical Disney Stores would be closing, and later learned that all Canadian locations would close. One of the jewels from a piece of 50th-anniversary bunting decoration on Cinderella Castle has fallen off. The jewel is missing from one of the turrets on the west side of Cinderella Castle. There’s also a new wine on tap here: Altos Las Hormigas Malbec, Argentina for $13 per glass.
Then the breakfast skillet is back and includes Hua Paka (scrambled eggs), Uala Kahiki (fried potatoes), Biscuits, Pua’a (pork breakfast sausage links and Hawaiian-style ham topped with pineapple compote), and Mickey waffles.

A Plant-based Breakfast Skillet available. This includes “Eggs,” Uala Kahiki (fried potatoes), Cinnamon-Sugar Donut, “Sausage,” and allergy-friendly Mickey waffles.
For specialty drinks, guests can choose from coffee, as well as character-inspired smoothies.
Breakfast is $15 to $34.99 per adult, and we recommend making reservations asap!
Dinner is also the same as it was pre-closure. It includes some favorite appetizers, like the Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings and Pork Dumplings Tossed in Garlic-Ginger Sauce, as well as all those yummy meats for Entrees, and the ONLY way to end a meal at ‘Ohana — the Bread Pudding.
We also got a look at the dinner drink menu, and there is a LOT to choose from, including Signature Cocktails like the Backscratcher and the Polynesian Mai Tai…
Maya Grill will reopen on June 24th and we’ve got the menu updates! Please note that only dinner will be served here upon reopening. There have been some minor changes to the menu since the restaurant’s closure last year:
Shrimp Mojo has replaced Tempura Rock Shrimp
Empanadas are now topped with Spicy Ranchero instead of Chipotle
REMOVED: Queso Fundido
NEW: Traditional Taco Salad, Fiesta Salad, and Ensalada Caesar Salad.
Sides available include Chipotle Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Poblano Potatoes Gratin, and Yucca Fries (with a price decrease) — but you can also now get Plantain Rice, Seasoned French Fries, or Fried Plantains!
Dessert still includes the Sorbet, but Churros are also now available. Missing, though, is the Ancho Creme Brûlée.
The Bacon of Doom has returned! This is Thick-cut Applewood-smoked Bacon dipped in The Ganachery’s Milk Chocolate and Chipotle Ganache served with your choice of a shareable smoked cocktail for $32. And yes, the addition of the cocktail is new! And when they say “smoked,” they mean it!

The cocktail choice includes Trusty Revolver: Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Tipplers Orange Liqueur, and Luxardo Cherries. Smoked and served with an Ice Sphere OR Snake Bite Margarita: Herradura Reposado Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, and Tipplers Orange Liqueur, with Sweet-and-Sour, and Lime Juice. Smoked and served with an Ice Sphere. Hurry, though — this is only available through September 6th.

It seems that Sheriff from the Disney/Pixar Cars film was missing his clothes today — or rather the shell that makes him look like…well…him. We don’t know what happened to his clothes, but they’re probably getting spiffed up.
He doesn’t look right
We’re sure someone will return his shell to him soon, but we thought it was funny how strange he looks without it! And it’s interesting to see what’s underneath the Disney magic, too, right? But of course, now we’ll never unsee naked Sheriff, so there’s that!
