One Of Disney World’s Spookiest Pre-Shows Is BACK!

Things are beginning to look a lot more normal these days at Disney World.

Welcome back to The Twilight Zone

Temperature checks are gone, masks are optional in most situations for fully-vaccinated guests, social distancing is fading away, and shows — along with fireworks — are coming back!

Another thing we’re starting to notice is that ride pre-shows are returning. Previously, we saw the return of pre-shows for both Dinosaur and Haunted Mansion. Well, today, ANOTHER pre-show has returned!

Tower of Terror Lobby

We rode The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and were reunited with our old pal Rod Serling during the ride’s pre-show.

You’ve just crossed over into The Twilight Zone

This pre-show really sets the mood for the ride and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an episode of the series. We’ve missed it so much, and we’re so glad to see it back! And if we see any other pre-shows returning, we’ll let you know!

PHOTOS, VIDEO: Mulan Returns to China Pavilion at EPCOT for Distanced Appearances

mulan-china-pavilion-8930

Mulan has returned to the China Pavilion in EPCOT after being gone for the past year except for a brief stint in the Princess Processional. Although physical distancing is mostly being removed from Walt Disney World, characters are still greeting guests from a distance for their safety. Mulan waved to guests from the bridge. Guests could get relatively close at the end of the bridge. She was happy to pose for photos. Watch a video of Mulan below.

Hello and welcome to a quite humid, but still magical morning at Walt Disney World! Today we saw the return of a beloved Haunted Mansion scene, new additions to Jungle Cruise, and much more. So let’s jump right in! This morning we decided to take a trip on “the world famous” Jungle Cruise! Onboard, we found that some floating props had been added around the new sunken boat in the classic hippo scene. Cast Members are also now filling guests […]

Which PIXAR Movie Reigns Supreme? We Asked, and You Answered!

If you ask a Disney fan which PIXAR movie is the best, chances are they will have VERY strong opinions!

Is Toy Story the best PIXAR film?

We put out a poll on Instagram asking our followers to vote in a PIXAR movie throwdown, and we received a lot of passionate responses (some of you were not very happy with the results!). There were a few close match-ups, and a few that had a clear winner!

One of the closest races was in between A Bugs Life and Wall-E, with Wall-E coming out on top! Both movies have major nature vibes, which made it a very hard choice, but this adorable robot has stolen your hearts. Obviously, y’all think this movie is out of this world!

A very close Bug’s Life vs Wall-E poll

Soul! is one of the newest PIXAR movies. It debuted at the end of last year, and a new exhibit opened at EPCOT in it’s honor! However, Soul!‘s smooth jazz couldn’t beat the heartwarming tunes of Coco. If you are a Coco fan, we recommend checking out the Coco exhibit at the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase!

Coco was the clear winner!

In the feud between families in Onward and The Incredibles, we witnessed an Incredible victory! Many of you said Onward tugs at your heart strings, but The Incredibles is a classic PIXAR film. Honestly, we can’t not picture this as a match-up between a family with a dad that has half a body, and a family with a dad who likes to pick up cars.

An Incredible Victory!

In arguably the most unfair pairing, Finding Nemo barely scraped a victory over Up!. We received a lot of grief for pairing these two together, and we don’t blame you. They are both heart-breaking, sweet stories! We apologize for the pain we’ve caused from making you choose.

This one was SO CLOSE!

We weren’t surprised to see that our favorite fiery red-head pulled a win over the duo of Arlo and Spot. With over 3/4 of the votes, there was no question that Brave reigns supreme over The Good Dinosaur! Bears > dinosaurs in this case.

Merida is the winner!

In what you all are calling the “Sophie’s Choice” of battles, Ratatouille squeaked out a victory against Inside Out! We’ve been super happy to see Joy and Sadness making core memories on the grounds at EPCOT, but we’re even more excited for the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in October!

Ratatouille squeezed through!

In the final match-up, we pitted a world with monsters against a world with talking cars, and the monsters dominated! Both movie franchises have sequels as well as attractions in Disney’s California Adventure, so we thought it might be a closer vote. But in the end, the fast-racing Cars couldn’t keep up with Mike and Sully in Monster’s, Inc.!

Monster’s Inc raced past Cars!

So there you have it, the officially unofficial best PIXAR movies! Don’t come at us if your favorite didn’t win, we are just the messengers. Thanks to everyone who participated in the polls and keep your eye out for the next one on Instagram!

See the surprising votes on which Disney Restaurants are overrated here!

Touchstone and Beyond: A History of Disney’s “The 13th Warrior”

Blockbuster Bombs concludes with a costly misfire of the 1990’s. Being adapted from a Michael Crichton book and directed by John McTiernan seemed like a recipe for success. The 13th Warrior would go down in history as a Blockbuster Bomb more epic than the story it tried to tell. The Plot Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan (Antonio […]

PHOTOS, VIDEO: Pre-Show Returns to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

rock-n-roller-coaster-113407

A year after reopening, the pre-show has finally returned to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This is the latest of many pre-shows to return to Walt Disney World as physical distancing is removed. Physical distancing was removed from the extended queue of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in late May. Distancing is now gone from the entire queue. Guests are once again encouraged to fill in all the available space. The classic Aerosmith video is back. There are […]

Beaches & Cream Fans NEED Disney World’s New Souvenir

Okay admit it — you have a LOT of Disney mugs, don’t you? (No judgement, because we do too!)

Pretty yellow mug

The cool thing about Disney mugs is that they’re both fun AND functional, which is why we keep being drawn into grabbing more of them, including a hilariously morbid Haunted Mansion mug, Star Wars Starbucks mugs, a Bao mug that just makes us smile, and a Moana mug with tons of hidden details!

But we just found a NEW mug at Disney World that looks good enough to eat! Say what? So, check out this new Beaches and Cream Sundae Mug. It’s a mug…but it looks exactly like a Mickey sundae!

New Beaches and Cream mugs!

And considering how MUCH we love sundaes from Beaches and Cream, this mug looks delicious! It’s even got sprinkles and chocolate Mickey ears!

We want to eat this mug

The back of the mug says “Every Day is Sundae,” and well, we couldn’t agree more!

No truer words were ever spoken.

Just look at the resemblance!

Twinning!

This appetizing mug can be found at the Beach Club Marketplace for $21.99. And if we spot any other Disney food-related merchandise, we’ll be sure to let you know.

PHOTOS, VIDEO: Pre-Show Returns to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

tower-of-terror-preshow-returns-111245

After a year of physical distancing, things are returning to their pre-pandemic normal at Walt Disney World. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the pre-show is once again operating at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. For the past year, guests had been directed straight through the room without stopping. There is no more physical distancing in the entire Tower of Terror queue. Dividers do remain in some sections though. The pre-show doors are no longer propped open. When entering the library, […]
