While there are many Disney collectibles to choose from, shoulder plushes have been pretty popular lately! We’ve seen Orange Bird, Remy, Forky, and others, but today we spotted the return of a beloved Star Wars shoulder plush!
Inside Tatooine Traders is a seriously cute shoulder plush ofThe Child, also known as Baby Yoda!
The Child Shoulder Plush
Using magnets, this little guy can sit on your shoulder while you walk around the parks! We haven’t spotted these in the parks in a while, so stop by Tatooine Traders or Mickey’s of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get your own shoulder plush of The Child. While we were in the shop, these plushes were flying off the shelves, but even if you don’t make it to Hollywood Studios in time, you can still order it online!

The potential power outages closed down a LOT of rides this week, but it didn’t seem to mess with the wait times too much! We did see the reopening of the Single Rider Line on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run this week but as of writing, the Single Rider line is still closed for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Test Track.
Remember, there are NOT any Fast Passes in Disney right now, and we have no word on when they’ll be coming back. So, everyyyyone has to wait in the standby line. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the average wait times for all of the rides in Disney World this week!
Magic Kingdom
We begin in Magic Kingdom, where Splash Mountain met its match this week for the longest wait time after holding the top spot for weeks! Both Splash and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait times this week with 53 minutes.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Next, we had Jungle Cruise at 47 minutes, Space Mountain at 38 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 35 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbeanat 32 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 30 minutes.
The just barely staying in the teens was Haunted Mansion averaged at a 19-minutewait. Then, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid and Mickey’s PhilharMagic both at 14 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 13 minutes, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Mad Tea Party, and Tomorrowland Speedway ALL at 12 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 11 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 10 minutes (phew, that was a lot!).
Dare you enter?
In the single digits were Liberty Square Riverboat at 7 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 5 minutes, and Tom Sawyer Island and Carousel of Progress both at 4 minutes.
Country Bear Jamboree!
The same two rides as last week also had ZERO wait times this week, which were Enchanted Tiki Room and the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
EPCOT
Moving on to EPCOT, Test Trackhad the longest average wait time at 64 minutes, followed byFrozen Ever After at 46 minutes, Soarin’ at 40 minutes, and Mission: SPACE at 38 minutes.
oof that’s a long line!
Then waaaay down in the teens were Gran Fiesta Tour at 18 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 15 minutes,Spaceship Earth at 14 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 12 minutes, and Living with the Land at 11 minutes.
Fish really are great friends!
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this week! These included American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, andReflections of China.
Hollywood Studios
Over in Hollywood Studios, we saw Slinky Dog Dash with the highest wait time again this week at 73 minutes.
In the 30s we only had Toy Story Mania at 35minutes and Tower of Terror at 30 minutes. Then we saw Alien Swirling Saucers at 21 minutes.
A long line…
In the teens were Walt Disney Presents at 14 minutes,Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 12 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academyat 11 minutes, and Muppet Vision 3D at 10 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
And finally, in Animal Kingdom, the ride that almost always has one of the highest wait times in all of Disney World, Avatar Flight of Passage, had the longest average wait time at 72 minutes.
Imagine getting to skip the wait for Flight of Passage!
Then we had Na’vi River Journey at 38 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 35 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 28 minutes, Expedition Everest at 22 minutes, Dinosaur at 21 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 12 minutes, and Triceratop Spin at 5 minutes.
Let’s go see that baby rhino!
The only attraction with no wait time this week in Animal Kingdom was Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail, so go check it out if you don’t want to wait in any lines!
Gorilla Falls
That’s our look at all of the average wait times in Disney World this week! Do you think we’ll ever have a ride with a longer wait time than Flight of Passage or Slinky Dog Dash? We’ll keep you updated on the average wait times each week, so stay tuned to DFB!

Hello from an overcast but beautiful day at the Magic Kingdom! While it was muggy and hot, we at least had dry weather to check out all the new things at the park today. Let’s get started! On our way in through the Transportation and Ticket Center, we found a new A-frame sign at the entrance to the Monorail reminding guests that face masks are required while onboard transportation. While there, we saw a few Cast Members taking advantage of […]

All around Disney World we are seeing restaurants and experiences reopen, and lots of things are going back to normal including the removal of masks, social distancing, and temperature checks.
Along with its reopening, La Cava del Tequila has some pretty amazing new additions for guests visiting. A new Tequila crafted exclusively and specifically for La Cava and a New Welcome Margarita.
La Cava del Tequila will fully reopen soon!
The first and most important announcement was about the new Tequila that is being featured EXCLUSIVELYat La Cava del Tequila, and we were so excited to hear all the preparation and work that went into this collaboration!
It is their first-ever collaboration with a Tequila brand and has been in the works for the past six years. The tequila is an Extra Añejo Tequila and it is made by Tromba Tequila. Javier from La Cava first talked with Mark Cedano from Tromba Tequila 6 years ago, and they decided that even though it would take 5 years to produce a specially crafted Extra Añejo Tequila, that is the path that both parties wanted to embark on.
If you are wondering what Extra Añejo Tequila is then you are in luck cause we are here to fill you in. Extra Añejo Tequila, unlike Añejo Tequila (which is aged 1-3 years), is aged more than three years. This specific Tequila is using some of their very first batches of Blanco tequila and is aged five years inAmerican oak barrels. Afterward, artisan families carefully craft the hand-blown bottle, beautiful case, and cork for the tequila.
The new margarita is made with Ojo de Tigre mezcal, blackberry purée, Ancho Reyes Verde liqueur, Abasolo corn whiskey, agave nectar, lime juice, and a black ant salt rim. That is right… ants!
Mexico Pavilion
We seriously cannot wait for this new experience atLa Cava del Tequila, and are really excited to taste that new margarita.

There are a lot of different options when it comes to dining at Disney World. And, while you could find some adventurous eats or try all the new snacks, sometimes all you really want is a good slice of pizza.
Pizza Window in the Italy Pavilion
So, where you should turn if you find yourself craving some crispy dough covered in cheese and toppings? Well, not all pizza is created equal — even in Disney World! We’re sharing with you our thoughts on the best places that you can find a slice (or even a pie) during your vacation.
Via Napoli
If you’re looking for pizza in Disney World, Via Napoli at EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion is THE place to be. With authentic ingredients and a crispy crust from the wood-fired pizza oven, these pies certainly stack up with the ones you might find in Naples, Italy.
Via Napoli Main Dining Area
They have a HUGE variety of pizzas to choose from so you’ll likely find something for everyone when you dine here. We particularly like ordering up the Quattro Formaggi White Pizza and the Build Your Own with Prosciutto, but you really can’t go wrong no matter what kind of pizza you fancy.
Via Napoli Prosciutto E Melone
Honestly, it’s not even fair how high Via Napoli sets the bar for pizza in Disney World.
So, if you’re not headed into EPCOT or you’d rather skip a Table Service restaurant for pizza, the next best thing is found over at Disney Springs. Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is a franchise pizza restaurant (that may even be in your hometown) and is known for its thin crust, customizable pizzas.
Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza
At the toppings bar, you can load up on all the cheese, meat, and veggies that you’d like and your pizza will be made blazing fast (see what we did there? ) in their open-hearth oven. They also offer some other menu options so you don’t always have to opt for the Build Your Own Pizza option if you’d prefer not to have to do any thinking.
The Art Lover Pizza from Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza
We’ve been known to come here and order up a huge variety of pizzas, opting for the Meater Eater pizza, Build Your Own pizza, and everything in between and the pie is always hearty and super tasty! So, if you’re not stuck trying Disney World exclusive restaurants and find yourself craving some ‘za, then Blaze is a great option.
There’s another pizza spot in Disney Springs that you may want to check out! Pizza Ponte is connected to Maria & Enzo’s and serves up GIANT pizzas by the slice and other Italian sandwiches and pastries. And, unlike Blaze (which has many locations throughout the U.S.), Pizza Ponte can only be found in Disney Springs.
Pizza Ponte
Here you’ll find that the pizzas have a thicker crust and are in the shape of a square (though they also serve up New York Style slices that are seriously the size of your head). There are still tons of interesting toppings and the pizza is really good, but you won’t find a create-your-own option here.
Slice of Porchetta Pizza at Pizza Ponte
So, it really just depends what kind of pizza you’re in the mood for — you’ll probably walk out of here having enjoyed a good slice of pizza if thick crust is your jam.
There are quite a few other places in Disney World that you can find a really good pizza on the menu though they’re not necessarily considered “pizza joints.” We’ve tried really good flatbreads at signature dining restaurants like California Grill in Disney’s Contemporary Resort…
Now, there are a few other pizza spots at Disney World that don’t necessarily stack up as our favorite but still have a lot of fans out there. So, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t give them at least some recognition on our “best” list!
Pizzafari
First up is Pizzafari in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This Quick Service restaurant is literally named after pizza, and we’ve found the quality of the ‘za to be hit or miss depending on when you’re visiting. They change up the menu from time to time so sometimes you can find a variety of delicious flatbreads and other times you’re stuck with the big puffy, really bready pizza that you can find at places like PizzeRizzo in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Shrimp Flatbread
If you do happen to be visiting when the menu has switched to flatbreads, we tend to enjoy their Shrimp Flatbread and Vegetable Flatbread — though there’s no guarantee that these will come back on the menu even when they do switch to flatbreads.
Speaking of flatbreads, you can always find the thin-crust, square pizza at Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom. Toppings like pepperoni, Margherita, and all-meat are normally on the menu, but they also have been known to offer a specialty flatbread that changes up each month.
Pinocchio’s Village Haus Flatbread
And, depending on the flatbread of the month, you can find some really unique (and tasty) options! Though, it’s also a safe bet to stop here if you want a basic flavor too.
Our last honorable mention when it comes to the best pizza in Disney World is the BoardWalk Pizza Window located on…you guessed it…Disney’s BoardWalk! The walk-up pizza stop has pizza pies that are your standard, acceptable pizzas.
White Pizza without Mushrooms
We’ve always found the pizza to be less than stellar compared to the other great stops in Disney World, but some people swear by it!
So, there you have it — the BEST places to find a slice of (or whole) pizza in Disney World! And, if you’re wondering if there are any pizza spots to AVOID in Disney World, well, we have that for you too — check out our video below!
